Typed letter with handwritten signature, on official Cleveland Orchestra stationary, dated in 1941. Size is 6.75 x 11 inches, small tear at the top and several folds, otherwise in very good condition. 

Austrian-born American conductor (1921-2014), associated for a long time with the now disappeared New York City Opera. Nice 3-bar autograph music quote from Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro signed by the conductor with a short sentiment. Size is 8.8 x 3.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Belgian conductor (1868-1948) who conducted several operas world premieres at the Theatre Royale de La Monnaie.  Autograph letter signed by him with a letterhead of Théatre Nationale de l'Opera, written in French (sold untranslated), discussing musical matters.  Size is 5.4 x 11.2 inches, 1 page, missing piece of paper over the lower-left corner, folds, otherwise in excellent condition.

Autograph letter in German (untranslated) on a postcard signed by him, dated March 9, 1884, where he addresses the musicologist Max Friedlaender (1852-1934), concerning music matters. Size is 3.6 x 5.5 inches, some ink stains at the top caused by the postal mark, otherwise in very good condition.

German conductor and composer (1875-1937), was in charge of the Dresden Philharmoinic 1929-32 among other orchestras in Germany, focused on late romanticism pieces and the dissemination of works by Richard Strauss, toured extensively and died while on tour. As a composer, created songs, chamber music and smaller orchestral works. Signed card attached to a cardboard with a photo, with a short sentiment, dated in 1932. Also included is an unsigned photo postcard of the conductor and composer, sizes are 4 x 5.75 for the signed piece, and 3.25 x 5.5 inches for the unsigned photo postcard, both in excellent condition.

Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him with a short sentiment on verso «... Rehearsal with Sydney Symphony...», dated 1975. Size is 2.25 x 5.75 inches, in very good condition (see scans provided).

Typed letter in German (untranslated) signed by him and dated 1930, addressed to Anita Colombo, Director of Teatro alla Scala, proposing a musical collaboration with that theater. Size is 9 x 11.4 inches approx., 2 typed pages, central fold, storage holes, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is Simon's business card with rust stains.
