Russian-Ossetian conductor (b.1977). Fine color photograph signed by him, shown in performance. Size is 9.75 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian-American conductor and violinist (1886-1965), founder conductor of the Cleveland Orchestra in 1918 and later its Music Director, remaining with the orchestra until 1932, later conductor of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Gorgeous photograph signed and inscribed by him, shown inspecting a score. Size is 6.5 x 8.6 inches, probably trimmed from a larger original size, some repaired cracks, in good condition.

German conductor (1899-1974), composer and author of Non-Fiction books.  Autograph letter signed by him and dated in 1969, written in German (sold untranslated), responding to a typed letter addressed to him on verso.  Size is 7 x 10.6 inches, 1 page, folds, in very good condition.

Italian orchestral and operatic conductor (1884-1960), was also an opera voice coach for Enrico Caruso and Mario Lanza, MGM and Warner Brothers Studios, and several leading American opera companies including the Metropolitan Opera and San Francisco Opera.  Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed with sentiment, written in attractive silver ink. Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 8 x 9.5 inches, small crease on bottom right corner, otherwise in very good condition. 

French conductor and violinist (b.1964), his career focuses mostly in conducting opera, and his work has received many awards. Signed photo, 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian conductor and violinist (b. 1944), currently principal conductor of the National Philharmonic of Russia. Signed color photo, size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

British-American conductor (1890-1969) of Indian birth. Fantastic black-and-white photograph signed by him with a short sentiment dated 1945; ink-stamped on verso by pAllied News-Photo (New York). Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

German conductor (1879-1961), theologian, and musicologist. Typed letter in German signed by him, dated July 21, 1939, stating: “Due to an overabundance of work and unfortunately also due to a prolonged illness, I only have time today, after the end of the semester, to thank you once again for the gracious welcome we received from you at our concert in Florence. It was a great pleasure for all of us to experience the open-mindedness with which the students of your famous institute received the performances of our chamber orchestra, and we will always remember the beautiful evening with you with gratitude. I hope that one day I will also have the pleasure of welcoming you to Berlin with some of your master's students. At the same time, I would like to take the liberty of sending you our last two annual reports, which should give you an insight into our work…”.  Size is 8.2 x 11.2 inches, 1 page, central fold, overal rust, creases, in overall very good condition.

German conductor (1855-1916) and composer who was particularly associated with the works of Johannes Brahms. Autograph letter in German, signed by him, dated 10/I/1909, to a colleague about music matters. Size is 5.5 x 8.6 inches, 1 page, central fold, with letterhead, in overall very good condition. Envelope is INCLUDED.

German-born American conductor (1899-1978). Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1955; photo by Lotte Neustein (New York). Size is 7.5 x 9.75 inches approx. (trimmed from a larger format), light folds over the angles due to previous framing, otherwise in excellent condition.

Polish-born German conductor (1927-2014), whose career mostly developed in Munich. Fine photo postcard signed by him, shown young conducting, dated in 1955. Size is 4.1 x 5.8 inches, in excellent condition.

British conductor (1922-2004), also professor, musicologist and radio producer. Signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1979. Size is 5 x 3.5 inches, in excellent condition.

French conductor (1915-2010), signed photograph with signature on verso, dated in 1965. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in very good condition. 

German conductor (1872-1942) and composer, most famous for his 37-year tenure as music director of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown at work. Size is 3.5 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian composer and conductor (1869-1919), wrote songs and duets, made very early recordings as a conductor. Nice cabinet photograph by E. Bieber, Berlin-Hamburg, signed and dated in 1907 by the composer. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, minor damage at the top and mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

German orchestra leader (1904-1998), conductor, composer, and jurist. Fantastic black-and-white photograph signed by him with a short music quote, inscribed and dated in 1977.  Size is 4.2 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

American conductor and organist (1914-1991), set of 1 typed letter signed, 1 page, dated in 1947, size is 7 x 7.25 inches, small mounting traces at the top and larger on verso, otherwise in excellent condition and 1 2.25 x 4 inch signed card, in very good condition. Not sold separately.

Hungarian-born American conductor (1897-1970) and composer, considered one of the 20th-century greatest conductors. Autograph letter in German signed by him and dated 1969, to composer Peter Thomas (1925-2020), concerning an upcoming meeting in Salzburg. Size is 5.8 x 8.2 inches, 1 page, storage holes, central fold, in overall excellent condition.

Hungarian-born American conductor (1897-1970) and composer, considered one of the 20th-century greatest conductors. Fine album page signed by him. Size is 6 x 4.3 inches, storage holes, central fold, otherwise in very good condition.

Hungarian-born Brazilian conductor (1891-1977). His baton used in public performance at Teatro Colon signed by him. Length is 14.75 inches, signature is a bit smudged, otherwise in excellent condition.

Prominent Italian composer, conductor and vocal teacher, coached such great artists as Enrico Caruso, Mario Bonci, Leo Slezak, Johanna Gadski, Geraldine Farrar, Emmy Destinn, and Louise Homer, among others. Signed 3 x 4.5 inch photograph, mounted onto cabinet-style backing, inscribed and dated in Buenos Aires in 1905. Total item size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, attractive vintage item in excellent condition.

German-American conductor and violinist (1835-1905), the first music director and the founder of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Autograph letter in German (sold untranslated) signed by the conductor in Chicago, 1894. Size is 8 x 10 inches, 1 page, folds, minor stains, in very good condition.

Moroccan-born German conductor (1881-1967), who had a very important career in Germany, most especially at the Bayreuth Festival.  Rare, larger size photograph signed and dated by him in 1936. Size is 8.25 x 10.6 inches, mounted on a slightly larger mat to a total size of 8.6 x 11 inches, in excellent condition. 

American conductor (b.1944), pianist, and composer. Larger size color Cibachrome* print signed and dated by the conductor in 1978, shown in rehearsal in Philadelphia that same year; also signed on verso by photographer Allen Winigrad.  Size is 10.9 x 14 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition. *Cibachrome prints are high-quality prints from color transparency enlarged onto reversal color paper. This paper already has the emulsion incorporated and gives exceptional color brilliance.

English conductor (1844-1930), autograph musical quote signed of three bars of music by Handel.  Bold handwriting and signature, signed as "Wm. L. Tomlins". 9 x 11 inch album page, several small cracks on far left, not affecting any of the text or signature. Otherwise in excellent condition.

Fine small business printed card, NOT SIGNED. Size is 4.2 x 2.75 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is its slightly larger envelope.

Small admission ticket in German for a concert in August 1939 at a church signed on verso by him and also by soprano Lotte Lehmann plus two other unidentifed signers. Printed card signed by him in New York, April 14, 1934, thanking contribution to the New York Society, attached to a half-tone photograph of him. Size is 6.75 x 4.3 inches, minor stains, in very good condition.

Daughter of star Italian Conductor Arturo Toscanini (1900-1991). Autograph letter in Italian signed by her, no date, to her father Artur Toscanini, about family matters: "... I give Mr. Todd this enlargement, I ask him to give you lots of news from us – and bring all our love – I hope you too will want to let yourself be taken by this machine that reproduces colors and disappears surprisingly. (...) In fact, I'm sending you a letter from you and a funny photograph taken in your studio – with the dreaded Verdi...". Danish conductor, composer, and arranger (1902-1957), and conductor of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. His baton used in public performance at Teatro Colon signed by him and inscribed to Cirilo Grassi, manager of Teatro Colon, dated May 1954. Length is 16.5 inches, in excellent condition.

German conductor (1895-1965), known particularly for conducting the works of Gustav Mahler. His baton used in public performance at Teatro Colon signed by him and inscribed to Cirilo Grassi, manager of Teatro Colon, dated 1954. Length is 21 inches, in excellent condition.

Slovak conductor (b.1976), whose career as a conductor began with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra in 2005 and was appointed as music director of Teatro di San Carlo. Gorgeous color photograph signed by him, shown in performance.  Size is 5 x 7.3 inches, in excellent condition.
