Swiss-born American pianist (1877-1972), and also conductor, composer, and music educator.  Autographs lot composed by 1 Autograph Letter Signed, 8 Typed Letters Signed, and 3 Telegrams.  Various sizes ranging from 8 x 6.25 inches to 8.5 x 11 inches, some items with folds, all in excellent condition. French baritone (1762-1823). Autograph document in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated July 24, 1816, asking the Superintendent of Liége for a leave for medical reasons.  Size is 7.9 x 9.5 inches, creases, folds, written notations by third hands, in overall very good condition.

Italian tenor (1865-1943) and one of the most important Italian tenors of his day, having premiered many title roles during his career.  Signed postcard (not a photograph of him), containing a drawing of the auditorium of La Scala Milan. This drawing is by Arti Grafiche Galileo, Milan. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some wear on various edges, otherwise in good condition. 

Scottish soprano (1874-1967) with a substantial career in France and America in the first third of the 20th century. A card signed and inscribed by her on the occasion of a dinner held in honor of the star American baritone Lawrence Tibbett at the Hotel Astor, New York, dated in 1954.  This is a folded 4-page card, each page is 4.5 x 6.25 inches, in excellent condition.  

Scottish soprano (1874-1967) with a substantial career in France and America in the first third of the 20th century. Her personal card signed by her with a greeting, dated 1924, mounted on soft black cardboard.  Size is 3.3 x 2.4 inches, in very good condition.

Celebrated Swedish tenor (1925-2017). Signed album page with a half-tone image of himself and his signature on front side and half-tone image and the signature of soprano Elisabeth Roon on the verso (both signatures are on the album page itself and not the photo). Size is 3 x 4.75 inches, in excellent condition. 

Austrian soprano (1833-1903), known in Vienna as the queen of operetta, sang Rosalinde in world premiere performances of Johan Strauss's Die Fledermaus. Autograph letter signed, dated in 1895, 2 pages of a folded 4-page document, size of each page is  4.5 x 62.5 inches, in excellent condition. Written in German, sold with an English translation. 

German mezzo-soprano (1883-1961), autograph letter signed, dated in Leipzig in 1920, 2 pages, written in German and sold untranslated. Bold handwriting and signature. Size of each page is 7 x 7 inches, in excellent condition. 

Slovakian soprano (1855-1920). Autograph letter signed, written in Berlin, dated in 1898. Written in German, sold untranslated. Four folded pages, text is on first and third pages. Size is 4.25 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Hungarian soprano (1855-1920). Autograph note signed by her, dated in November 1883.  Size is 4.9 x 7.8 inches, 1 page (from an album), folds, damage over the left border not affecting writing or signature, otherwise in very good condition.

Slovakian soprano (1855-1920). Signed album page, written in English, written in Boston, dated in 1882. Size is 6.25 x 8.25 inches, some stains on left side outside of the area of text and signature, otherwise in excellent condition. Also included: beautiful unsigned cabinet photo of her in role, size is 4 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately. 

Italian soprano (1880-1959), younger sister of Italian soprano Ada Giachetti (1876-?), a lover of the great Italian tenor Enrico Caruso.  Signed album page, with text on both sides written in Italian, dated in 1907. Size is 5 x 9 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian mezzo-soprano and creator of the role of Suzuki in the 1904 world premiere of Puccini's Madama Butterfly. Autograph note signed by her replying to a fan who requested an autograph. size is 5.1 x 6.5 inches, 1 page, central fold, in very good condition.

Italian superstar tenor (1890-1957), one of the greatest tenors of all time, often regarded as "the second Caruso". Carbon copy of a typed letter on official letterhead, authentically hand-signed by him at the bottom, dated in Rome in 1944, size is 8 x 9.25 inches. `Also included: typed 2-sided note with New Year's greetings, 5.75 x 8.75 inches, dated in Rome in 1945. Both written in Italian, sold untranslated. Not sold separately. 

Portuguese mezzo-soprano (1870-1953). Autograph note signed, written on both sides of a 5.5 x 7-inch card, consisting of several poetic verses, dated in Lisbon in 1948, signature is on the verso (backside). Written in Spanish, sold untranslated. In excellent condition. 

Romanian-born American soprano (1884-1938), one of the most famous performers in the 1910s, very famous for singing at the Met Opera of New York. Card signed and inscribed by her, mounted on cardboard. Card size is 3.5 x 2 inches, in excellent condition.

Hungarian mezzo soprano (1845-1925), autograph letter signed, 1 folded page written in German, sold untranslated. Size is 5 x 7.5 inches, in excellent condition.

English soprano (1831-?). Autograph letter signed, 2 pages of a folded 4-page document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Page size is 5.25 x 8.5 inches, small tear on final pages not including any text, otherwise in excellent condition.

Famous French soprano (1870-1934), who world premiered operas by Massenet, Leroux and others, and the French premiere of Verdi´s opera "Falstaff". Autograph note signed, 1 page written in French, sold untranslated. Size is 5.25 x 7 inches, in excellent condition. 

French soprano (1852-1939), celebrated especially for her performances of operettas by Jacques Offenbach, starring in the world premieres of his La Jolie Parfumeuse, Girofle-Girofla, La Marjolaine and Le Petit Duc, among many others. Autograph note signed, 2 pages, written in French, sold untranslated. Size is 4.3 x 5.9 inches, beautifully preserved in excellent condition.

French tenor (1834-1912), who starred in both opera and operetta, including the world premiere productions of Massenet's Manon and Offenbach's Les Contes D'Hoffmann. Autograph letter signed, 1 page, written in French in 1889, sold untranslated. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

French cabaret singer (1865-1944), and actress of the Belle Epoque, who also performed in silent films. Autograph letter signed,  dated in 1921, 1 page (of a folded 4 page document) written in French sold with a typed English translation.  Size of each page is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, small mounting traces, otherwise in very good condition.

English soprano (1876-1959), also known as Agnes Nicholls Harty. Autograph letter signed, 2 pages of text on a folded 4 page document. Size of each page is 4 x 6 inches, in excellent condition. 

American tenor (1887-1977), autograph letter signed, 1 page in English, dated in 1942. Size is 6 x 8 inches, small creases and folds, otherwise in very good condition. 

Belgian soprano (1867-1942). Autograph note in French signed by her on a card. Size is 4.5 x 3.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Belgian soprano (1888-1973), one of France's most celebrated opera singers during the 1910's to the 1930's. Autograph Note Signed, written on two sides of a folio, in French, sold untranslated. Each side is 6.25 x 8 inches, in excellent condition. 

Double signed album page of German soprano and mezzo-soprano Anna Hildach (1852-1935)  and her husband, German composer and baritone Eugen Hildach (1849-1924), creator of many songs. This page is signed in 1898 with bold handwriting and signatures, size is 5 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.   

Star American contralto (1871-1947), one of the most beautiful voices of the golden era of singing. Signature on paper with a short sentiment, dated 1924. Size is 5.5 x 2.75 inches. Also included an original cabinet photo, shown as Orpheus in the opera by Gluck. Photo by Aime Dupont, New York, some mounting traces on the back of the photo, otherwise both in excellent condition.

Ukrainian tenor (1882-1959).  Set of 8 printed scores of songs, signed by him on the front cover, with markings inside.  Some scores include works by Taneyev and Rachmaninoff.  Various sizes ranging from 8.6 x 11.4 inches to 10.5 x 14.25 inches, from 4 pages and up, all in good condition or better. Italian soprano (1898-1966), autograph letter signed, using the letterhead of the Hotel Terminus in the Hague. Addressed to Leo Riemens, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, in very good condition.

Dutch soprano (1879-1932) and also a music educator. Autograph letter with the letterhead of the Savoy Hotel signed by her, dated in London, on April 2nd, 1913. Size is 6.1 x 8 inches, central fold, in excellent condition.

French bass (1868-1933), who starred in the world premiere performances of Arrigo Boito's Nerone. Autograph letter signed, written in London, dated in 1906. Written in French, sold untranslated. Four folded pages, text is on first and third pages. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian bass-baritone also known as Josip Kaschmann (1847 or 1850 (?)-1925). Autograph letter signed, 2 pages on a folded 4-page document, written in Italian, signed with last name only, and sold with a typed English translation. Original letter size is 5.75 x 7.75 inches with clear handwriting and signature, in excellent condition. 

American soprano and impresario (1842-1916). Autograph letter signed, undated, 2 pages in English, with very clear handwriting. Size is 4.5 x 6.9 inches, some stains on empty pages, but pages with written text are in excellent, beautifully preserved condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned CDV, with a printed signature, shown as herself. Beautiful photo, size is 2.5 x 4.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Famous American heldentenor (1925-2005), especially celebrated for Wagnerian and Strauss heroic tenor roles but also known for French and Italian dramatic repertoire. Signed postcard photograph, shown as Canio in Leoncavallo's I Pagliacci, dated in Vienna in 1968. Photograph by Fayer photo studio, Vienna, 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. Ukrainian-born bass (1891-1978).  Autograph musical quote signed containing a few bars of Gounod's Faust on a 5 x 6.5 album page. Bold handwriting and signature, in excellent condition. 

Austrian tenor (1880-1948) who performed mostly in Vienna, but toured extensively and had guest performances in Bayreuth, London, Berlin, Paris, etc as well as South America. Nice autograph music quote, with a short text in German quoting Richard Wagner ("Music has never yet cheated a human heart"), dated in 1921 at the Staatsoper, Berlin. Size is 6.25 x 4.5 inches, in excellent condition.

English contralto (1873-1930). Set of 1 autograph note signed, 1 page written in English, dated in London in 1909, size is 7 x 10 inches, several creases, otherwise in good condition, along with signed 8 x 10 inch program page from a concert in London's Wigmore Hall, both items signed only as "Kirkby Lunn". Small tear on the left side of the program page, otherwise in good condition. Not sold separately.
