    Polish virtuoso violinist (1835-1880), one of the greatest violin composers of the 2nd. half of the 19th century.  Rare autograph music quote signed by him with 2 bars with handwritten text about autographs expressing his concern he can be criticized for any possible orthographic mistake. The music quote is an exercise for violin mastering adding a quote saying "1050 times before breakfast and the same number after dinner", showing his sense of humor. Size is 7.4 x 4.5 inches, probably cut from an album page with part of someone's else autograph on the top, minor rust stains on the edges, otherwise in excellent condition.
