French composer (1811-1896) and teacher, best known for his operas Mignon (1866) and Hamlet (1868). Nice vintage (unsigned) CDV (Carte-de-Visite) of Charles Reutilinger depicting the famous composer. Size is 2.4 x 4.1 inches, some rust stains, in overall very good condition.
