Typed letter in English signed by the composer in 1981, with his letterhead, and a music quote at the bottom. Size is 7.25 x 10.4 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition.

Czech-born composer (1879-1972), creator of operettas, songs, and piano pieces. Autograph music quote on an album page with 2 bars from "The Vagabond King" (1925) -one of his most popular works.  Music quote is mounted on a mat together with a photograph of the composer. Total size is 7.75 x 11.75 inches, music quote is 5.25 x 3.3 inches (visible window size), in excellent condition.

German-born American composer (1905-1995), widely known for his synagogue and other Jewish religious music.  Nice card with 5 bars of music from an unknown piece, signed by him.  Card also has a message on verso signed by the composer as well. Size is 3.4 x 2 inches, creases from top to bottom over the left border, inscribed by another hand in red ink, minor stains, in good condition.

Italian composer (1851-1923), organist, conductor, and director of the Parma Conservatory and Milan Conservatory. Set of 5 autograph letters in Italian (untranslated) signed by him, two of them dated 1894, a note dated 1913, addressed to different people -Amilcare Ponchielli among them- about different matters. Swiss-born American pianist (1877-1972), and also conductor, composer, and music educator.  Score of his song "Love in a Cottage" signed and inscribed by him over the upper-right corner of the front cover dated 1919. Size is 10.6 x 13.5 inches, 6 pages including covers, some cracks, loose front cover, in overall very good condition.

Peruvian composer (1873-1953). Autograph letter in English with the letterhead of the Academia Nacional de Música "Alcedo" signed by him, dated in Lima, 1940. Size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, 1 page written on both sides, in excellent condition.

Belgian composer (1828-1908) and musicologist, his output was mostly vocal music.  Autograph music quote signed by him, dated in 1866, 4 bars from an unknown piece, size is 6.8 x 4.75 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

American composer (1868-1928) and collector of folk songs.  Autograph music quote with 4 bars and lyrics of his "Pirate Song" signed by him.  Size is 9.5 x 3.6 inches, two folds, overall age-toning, in very good condition.

Argentine composer (1916-1983), regarded as one of the most important composers of the Americas in the XX century. Card signed by him matted with his unsigned photograph, inscribed to American composer Christopher Rouse. Card is 4.5 x 3 inches (visible window size), photo is 2.75 x 3.8 inches (visible window size), for a total size of 7.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian composer (1864-1945), and organist. 2-bar autograph music quote from some sacred music on cardboard signed by him and dated June 16, 1915. Size is 4.4 x 3.3 inches, in excellent condition.

French composer and violinist (1849-1895), best known for his opera "Jocelyn". Autograph letter in French signed by him and dated 1881, addressing an actor friend, concerning a performance of  Offenbach's "Les Contes d’Hoffmann".  Size is 3 x 4.7 each page, four written pages in one folded sheet, some creases and folds, otherwise in very good condition.

Dated in Paris, April 7, 1922, to a colleague in two written pages concerning an article, informing that such an article was incomplete and forgot to mention he was awarded the Verley Prize and other stuff.  B. Dated January 30, 1918, to a colleague in two written pages, requesting the shipping of a few copies of his article published in the magazine Musica di Roma on Romanian music. ALSO INCLUDED is his personal card with a few autograph lines written by him.

Spanish composer (1791-1836), was very successful in his time. Fine autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him and dated in London, July 11, 1830, addressed to the French composer Daniel Auber thanking him for taking the time to study his opera (presumably "Le Favori") requesting his recommendation to get it performed in France.  Size is 7.1 x 8.7 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet (front and back), overall rust tone, creases, folds, in very good condition.

French musician (1839-1892) and journalist. Collection of three autograph letters in French (untranslated) signed by him, one of them dated 1873. Letters are addressed to Mr. Bertrand and the new director of the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin Henri Larochelle (1826-1884) concerning theater evenings, books' lending, and the recommendation for a young orphan girl in Brest. Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by him, dated in Paris, March 14, 1916, where he addresses the ballet dancer Abel Bordieux: “…Ce mot pour vous dire combien je serais ravi d’avoir l’occasion de venir diriger une représentation française en Italie si cela pourrait se présenter – Voilà déjà deux chefs italiens qui viennent de diriger à Paris ([Arturo] Vigna et [Rodolfo] Ferrari) l’occasion de la réciproque peut se présenter…”. Size is 7.4 x 9.1 inches, 1 written page, storage holes, some folds and creases, in overall very good condition.

Eminent French composer (1879-1944), and also pianist, conductor and music critic. A pupil of Faure, Grovlez was also the Director of the Paris Opera for 20 years. Autograph letter signed, with the letterhead of the Academie Nationale de Musique et de Danse, dated in 1922. One sheet written on both sides, in French, sold untranslated. Size is 5.4 x 8.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Greek composer (1925-1994). Typed letter in English signed by him, dated July 25, 1960, about copyrights to his employers. Size is 8.4 x 10.8 inches, 1 page, storage holes over the top, folds and creases, in overall excellent condition.

Venezuelan-born French composer (1874-1947), conductor, and music critic; best known for his songs of which he wrote more than one hundred. Set of 2 autograph notes in French (untranslated) signed by him. Heinrich Kaminski Autograph Letter is an original handwritten letter by the celebrated German composer Heinrich Kaminski (1886–1946). This letter, dated September 1938, is written in German and bears the composer’s authentic signature, providing collectors and classical music enthusiasts with a unique piece of musical history. A translation is also included. Autograph letter measures approximately 8.25 x 11.7 inches and shows minor folds, in very good condition.

Hungarian pianist and composer (1813-1888) and teacher; a close acquaintance of many famous romantic composers of his time, such as Berlioz, Chopin and Liszt.  Autograph letter in French signed by him, no date. Size is 4.1 x 5 inches, 3 written pages in 1 folded sheet, in excellent condition.

See scans. Heller writes to a friend (prob. composer Felix LeCouppey) mentioning he is about to leave for a visit to England, that he has been so busy finishing new compositions that he did not have a single free moment. He asks to give his regards to Mrs. LeCouppey and signs as St. Heller at the end. Size is 8 x 5.25 inches (unfolded size), or 4 x 5.25 inches (folded). Minor rust spots, otherwise very good condition, rare! Also included is a half-tone print with the pianist/composer image, probably from a book or magazine.
