English politician (1848-1930) and former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and also later Secretary of Foreign Affairs who issued the Balfour Declaration in 1917, allowing Jews to establish in Israel.  Beautifully signed cabinet photograph of him by London Stereoscopy Co.  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a short note with Official letterhead, hand-written and signed by him, about business matters, dated in 1901.  Size is 4.7 x 7.3 inches, 1 page, central fold, stains, mounting traces on verso, in good condition.

Israeli politician (1913-1992) and founder of the Likud Party and Prime Minister of Israel (1977-1983). Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by him. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

French military (1753-1815), Marshall of the Empire who served during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars; twice Minister of War (1799-1807) and Chief Staff to Napoleon I. Fantastic set of 7 documents in French (sold untranslated), handwritten by another hand and signed by Berthier as Minister of War.  All 7 documents are 2-pages each, each page is 7.8 x 12.3 inches, folds, in excellent condition.

Cuban political leader (1926-2016), a communist revolutionary who ruled the country for nearly 40 years and a world political figure, his brother Raul Castro Ruz (b.1931) is, since 2011, the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba. Certificate or diploma given as "Individual Emulation", to the best worker of the Cuban Workers Central in the category of auxiliary, 1978. Boldly signed at the bottom by both Castro brothers. Size is 8 x 10 inches, minor damage over the lower right corner and a couple of ink stains, otherwise in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a funny photograph of Fidel Castro holding a newspaper and a cigar, a modern copy/print, sized 7 x 9 inches, in excellent condition.

British politician and writer (1874-1965), Prime Minister of the UK during most of WWII (1940-45) and again after the war (1951-55). Fabulous, large size, original photograph by Vivienne, London, signed by Churchill below and over the photographer´s mat, who dated his signature in 1950. Also signed by photographer Vivienne in white ink, over the photo, and ink stamped by photographer on verso. Total mat size is 14.8 x 18.25 inches, actual photograph is mounted on it and its size is 11.75 x 14.7 inches. Minor silvering on photo borders, some minor scratches over mat, general and very even rust toning, overall in excellent condition. One of the most impressive and large signed images we have seen of the famous leader, in a photograph signed as well by the photographer. Rare!

British politician and writer (1874-1965), Prime Minister of the UK during most of WWII (1940-45) and again after the war (1951-55). Fine original photograph, signed by him, showing him receiving a plaque from the Lions Club in 1956. The photo is mounted on a hard cardboard mat. French nobleman (1798-1881), duke of Cambaceres, French senator, and politician. Set of 2 autograph letters in French (sold untranslated) signed by him, one of them is dated in Paris, 1873.  Each one is 5.25 x 8 inches in size approximately, 4 pages each one, folds, in excellent condition. French artillery officer (1859-1935) whose trial and conviction in 1894 on charges of treason became one of the most tense political dramas in modern French history, with a wide echo in all Europe. Signature on card attached to a photo postcard of him, size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an envelope handwritten by him, attached to the verso. See scans.

English-Irish soldier and statesman (1769-1852), twice Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and one of the commanders who defeated Napoleon in the Napoleonic Wars. Autograph letter in English about military matters addressed to Lieutenant Charles Philip Rose, dated in Cheltenham (U.K.), July 3, 1823.  Size is 7.75 x 12.75 inches, 1 sheet, folds, some mat burn marks over the top, in overall excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a modern print photo of a portrait of the Duke. Size is 4.9 x 7.8 inches, in excellent condition.

French General (1753-1837), during his years of service, fought in the French revolutionary wars, the American revolutionary war, and the Napoleonic wars. Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by Dumas and addressed to Louis-Alexandre Berthier as Minister of War, dated in Naples, April 1st, 1806. Size is 8.25 x 12.75 inches, 2 pages, a missing piece of paper over the upper-left corner, folds, otherwise in excellent condition. Set of 2 documents from Ministry of War written in French (sold untranslated) by another hand and signed by Dumas, dated February and April 1810. One of them is 1-page while the second is 2-pages long, each page is 8 x 12.25 inches approximately, in excellent condition. SOLD TOGETHER, NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.

King of England (Edward VII) (1894-1972), who only reigned for 11 months in 1936, abdicated to the throne becoming the Duke of Windsor, in order to marry American socialite Wallis (Simpson) Windsor (1896-1986). Card signed by both Edward as the Duke of Windsor, and Wallis Windsor, with a photo of them. . Card is 5.4 x 3.5 inches, has tape residues on all 4 corners, in very good condition.

American army general and statesman (1890-1969) who served as the 34th president of the USA from 1953 to 1961.  Large signed photo, inscribed to American lawyer Malcolm McIntyre (1908-1992) who served as undersecretary of the Air Force.  Size is 11 x 14 inches, small crease across upper left corner, mounting traces on verso, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a short biography of Malcolm McIntyre.

Spanish pioneer of aviation (1896-1938), and brother of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco. Large gorgeous sepia photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, dated in Buenos Aires, March 11, 1926. Size is 9 x 10.9 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned sepia photograph of him mounted on a mat, ink-stamped on verso by Cooperativa Fotográfica, Buenos Aires. Indian politician (1917-1984) and only female Prime Minister of India, who was assassinated in 1984. Black-and-white photograph signed by her, shown young. Size is 4.6 x 5.9 inches, mounting traces on verso, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a short typed letter from her office.

French general and statesman who led the French Resistance during WWII, later let the government (1944-46). Typed letter signed, dated in 1952, giving condolences to the wife of a recently passed friend. Letter is in one page, 8.25 x 10.5 inches, with his letterhead, comes with an unsigned photo, a modern print, 8 x 10 inches.

Isabella I (1451-1504), Queen of Castile for the period 1474-1504, reigned over unified Spain with her husband Ferdinand II of Aragon- both are known today as the Catholic Monarchs. Among her most important achievements, they conquered back all of Spain from the Arabs, forced the expulsion of Muslims and Jews from Spain, and financially sponsored Christopher Columbus's 1492 voyage that will result in the discovery of the Americas for the old world!. Rare signed letter, dated in 1483, a very important year for the Spanish Inquisition since that was the year Torquemada was named the Great Inquisitor. The letter is addressed to a nobleman named Sancho de Vergara and mentions a meeting of the Queen with a knight, who will bring him a message. Letter was written by the Queen´s secretary, and signed by the Queen as "Yo, La Reina" ("I, the Queen"). Sold with 3 separate pages that include a full translation and transcription from old Spanish, plus a full description. Letter is 8.6 x 6 inches, folds, minor stains, in excellent condition.

Former head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City from 1958 until 1963. Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a long sentiment dated 1957 (when he was still a Cardinal); blind-stamped on the front by photographer Giacomelli (Venice).  Size is 7 x 9.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Chinese nationalist leader (1887-1975) and politician, led the Republic of China for almost 50 years (1928-1975), first in mainland China (until 1949), later on the island of Taiwan. Fantastic, larger size mat with an original photo of him, signed by him, mounted on a larger black mat to a total size of 10 x 13.1 inches. The actual photograph is 5.7 x 6.9 inches, blind-stamped (metal stamp with no ink) on the front by photographer C. Mea, with text in both Chinese and Western characters. Background rust quite evenly distributed, in very good condition.

Former first lady of the United States (1929-1994), and Irish novelist (b.1930). Nice black-and-white photograph signed by both personalities with a short sentiment. Size is 10 x 7.9 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a letter of authenticity by JSA (James Spence Authentication) -not shown.

American politician (1917-1963) who served as the 35th president of the United States from 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. Fine business card signed by him as Senator for Massachusetts (1953-1960), with his name printed and a logo.  Size is 3.4 x 1.75 inches, dirt on verso, some smudge on ink, tiny rust dots, in overall very good condition. An excellent souvenir of the young Kennedy before becoming President in 1961.

Russian politician (1894-1971), and first secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1953 to 1964. Fine black-and-white photograph signed by him, dated 1960. Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

King of France (1638-1715), also known as The Sun King,  between 1643 and 1715, was his reign of 72 years and 110 days the longest of any sovereign in history. Document in French (sold with a partial translation) signed by him in 1685 to his violinist Jacques Laquieze giving him a place to build at Versailles. The document is beautifully mounted floating on a mat with photo corners and has multiple abbreviations and legal terms about taxes.  Size is 13 x 9.75 inches, Total mat size is 18 x 15 inches, minor cracks, folds, in overall excellent condition.

American military leader (1880-1964), a five-star general of the US Army who played a crucial role in the Pacific theater during WWII. Large, beautiful photograph signed by him, matted to a total size of 14 x 18 inches, photo is 10 x 13.25 inches (visible window size). Photo is in excellent condition and can be easily removed from mat if desired.

Israeli stateswoman (1898-1978) and fourth Prime Minister of Israel between 1969 and 1974; German statesman (1913-1992) and chancellor of West Germany between 1969 and 1974; and Jesco von Puttkamer (1919-1987), the German Ambassador to Israel from 1971 through 1974.  Triple signed photo shown in a parade event, size is 6.75 x 4.9 inches, minor crease, in excellent condition.

French emperor (1808-1873), first president of France (1848-1852), and emperor between 1852 and 1870; nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte. Autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by him on the last page, dated in 1854, about army deployment in Anatolia mentioning the Turkish army and discussing a strategy. Each page's size is 5.25 x 8 inches, 5 pages, central fold, in excellent condition.

Argentine Army general and politician (1895-1974), who was elected President three times. Gorgeous large photograph mounted on hard cardboard signed by the General and inscribed to the American oncologist George T. Pack (1898-1969) who flew to Argentina in 1951 to operate Peron's dying wife Evita; photograph is dated in Buenos Aires, August, 1954.  Size is 9.25 x 14 inches, in excellent condition.

Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February 1952 until her death in 2022. Fantastic set of 47 original unsigned photographs taken during her coronation on June 1953. The set includes 6 larger-size photographs (the first six scans provided) of 11.75 x 9.9 inches each, some mounting glue residues on verso, otherwise in excellent condition; and other 41 photographs of 6.4 x 7.5 inches each, mounting traces on verso, in excellent condition, 20 of them are ink-stamped on verso by Associated Newspapers Ltd, London.  SOLD ONLY AS A LOT, NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.

Fantastic photograph signed by 4 US presidents together at the White House, October 8th, 1981. Former presidents Nixon, Ford, and Carter arrived by helicopter and were greeted by President Ronald Reagan, meeting with them for around half an hour before they left for Andrews Air Force Base, where they would board a plane to Cairo, Egypt. Ford, Carter and Nixon attended the funeral of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, who had been assassinated two days earlier. Reagan, who had survived his own assassination attempt just 6 months earlier, decided was too risky to attend Sadat´s funeral. Instead, the 3 former presidents, including Carter, who had brokered peace between Egypt and Israel, served as the American delegation. This photo was the retirement gift to Helen Colle Donaldson Hollers (1918-2013), who served as White House Appointments Secretary to all 4 presidents (and 5 more!) during her 43 years of service. Size is 8 x 10 inches, some tape traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Large signed photo, an original print by Harris & Ewing, inscribed, signature is on the mat. Size is 12 x 16.25 inches, photo is 9 x 13 inches (visible window size), overall age toning with some minor cracks on mat, otherwise in very good condition.

Roosevelt led the United States through all the difficult years of the financial crisis of the 1930s and WWII. Gorgeous signed photo on glossy photo paper, inscribed, size is 7.4 x 9.4 inches, minor cracks, otherwise in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a 3rd party authentication letter (from JSA services).

Argentine general (1778-1850) and the primary leader of the southern and central parts of South America's successful struggle for independence from the Spanish Empire. A wonderful note written in Spanish signed by the General at the bottom of the manuscript and by Ignacio Barceló. In this document, the Argentine leader speaks about Chile and recommends Jose Ignacio Barceló (father of the Chilean jurist Jose Maria Barceló 1835-1887) from the Chilean army to become part of San Martin's army. Size is 8.5 x 12 inches, 1 page, folds, overall rust tone, some small holes, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a 2-page article in English about this manuscript written by History experts, plus an English translation of the manuscript. This is a very important document for both Argentina and Chile.

British former Princess of Wales (1961-1997) and first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales (b.1948). Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by her, dated in 1988.  Size is 7.8 x 9.9 inches, authentication sticker on verso, in excellent condition. Bold Princess Diana signature across, signed simply as "Diana" in black ink with a felt tip pen, shown young, in a formal event. ALSO INCLUDED is a Certificate of Authenticity by Global Authentics. 

British stateswoman (1925-2013) and Prime Minister of Great Britain (1979-1989), British politician (1923-1998), Labour Prime Minister (1964-1970 and 1970-1976), Labour party politician (1923-1998) and Labour politician and Cabinet minister (1932-2008). Witty Christmas card signed by the two former Prime Ministers (Wilson signs twice) and three more politicians (Howell, Varley and Prentice). Trifold card that opens to a size of 7.6 x 15.75 inches, in excellent condition.

French statesman and historian (1797-1877), second elected President of France and first President of the French Third Republic. Large signed photograph (21 x 27.25 inches !), also hand signed by famous photographer Leon Bonnat (1833-1922) - his portraits of Victor Hugo and Louis Adolphe Thiers are among his most famous works. The actual photo print is in excellent condition, original photographer mat has minor loss of paper on corners, overall aging coloration and some stains, but is still in very good condition. Fantastic album that belonged to the English palaeographer and amateur historian Emma Elizabeth Thoyts (1860-1949) with many autograph letters and clips signed by different personalities of the Victorian era including Queen Victoria and her husband Prince Albert, King Henry IV, King William IV, Princess Christiane (Queen Victoria's daughter), Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli and many other personalities of the United Kingdom. Album has a larger number of items (for a more complete list of the items identified please give a look at the last scans provided) and it is signed by Mrs. Thoyts on the back of the front cover, dated 1875.  Album's size is 9.8 x 11.75 inches, in very good condition.

First president of Israel and zionist leader (1874-1952), Weizmann was also a noted biochemist.  Signed biography book in 2 volumes, only volume 1 is signed on this limited edition in special paper of just 500 copies, each one signed and numbered. Hardcovers in blue cloth, wear and some damage on spines, no dust jacket, otherwise in excellent condition.
