Russian pianist, composer, conductor, and teacher (1829-1894), regarded as one of the greatest keyboard virtuosos.

Signed page from Barcarolle, one of his works (op. 30/1), inscribed to Whistling, a famous publisher from Leipzig. Carl F. Whistling (1788-1855) was a music publisher and bookseller in Leipzig, his son Friedrich Whistling (1809-1861), to whom Rubinstein inscribed this printed score, was Robert Schumann´s most important publisher.

A total of six pages plus back cover, front cover is missing, signed, inscribed and dated by Rubinstein at the bottom of page 1, larger format: 10.25 x 13.3 inches. Brittle old paper, minor stains and some cracks, but in overall very good condition.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
