Italian soprano (1828-1922), later singing teacher, belonging to a family of singers (mother, sisters and brother were also singers), Boccabadati was famous in her time and even was considered by Verdi for the title role in the world premiere of La Traviata in 1853.

Signed lithograph with a large portrait of her, labeled as the Prima Donna assoluta of the Teatro di Modena, season 1853-54, with a short sentiment by her. Size is 10.75 x 15.25 inches, some repaired cracks, rust and overall age toning, in good condition.
