French composer (1828-1907), considered a person and composer of stature during her life, although less remembered subsequently.

Set of three autograph letters in French (untranslated) signed by her, not dated [1880 ca.], where De Grandval addresses the harpist Coraly Gatayes (1840-1913), daughter of Léon. The letters concern her composition “La Ronde de Songes” (1880) and other works such as Federico Morina Vanoni’s “Isabella de Lagatinerie”. 

We report an extract as a sample: “…j’ai enfin la partie de harpe de la Ronde du Songes. Mademoiselle, voulez vous être assez bonnes pour me dire quand je puis avoir chance de vous rencontrer, afin d’avoir le grand plaisir de vous revoir (…) et de vous faire entendre mon oeuvre?…”.

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
