Autograph letter, signed by the famous Italian composer (1876-1948) and teacher, well known for his comic operas and instrumental works. Wolf-Ferrari asks Austrian conductor and opera director Clemens Krauss (just appointed Intendant of the National Theater Munich) to receive the representative of a publisher, and discuss about his operas Sly (1927) and La Vedova Scaltra (1931, mentioned in German as "Schalkhafte Wittwe"). Beautiful letter, bold, clear signature, dated in 1937, with his letterhead.

In very good condition, has 2 folds and a couple of holes not affecting the text. Clemens Krauss is mispelled by Wolf-Ferrari, missing an "s". Size is 7 x 9 inches, 1 page, blank on verso

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not. At our discretion, a restocking and relisting fee of up to USD 40 could be applied for some returned items, although this is very rarely applied.
