German pianist, composer, and conductor (1829-1907), known for his piano concertos and other piano pieces. He was married to great Swedish soprano Jenny Lind (1820-1887), known as the "Swedish Nightingale", one of the biggest opera stars of the 19th century, and was her primary accompanist and vocal instructor.

Autograph letter signed by Goldschmidt, dated in 1862, 1 page of a 4 page folded document, written in English, page size is 4.25 x 7 inches, contains blind-stamped address above the handwritten letter. Also Included: a very brief 5.25 x 9 inches telegram from Lind addressed to him at their Cannes address. Very rare vintage items, in excellent condition!
