German violinist and composer (1831–1907) ranked second only to Paganini among nineteenth-century virtuosi. Autograph note, listing 3 groups of quartets (probably a plan for upcoming performances), a handwritten envelope, a program for a performance of Beethoven´s Missa Solemnis with him listed as the violin soloist, 1894, and a newspaper clip commenting about him.
Note is 8.25 x 5 inches, program is 6 x 8.5 inches and is complete, with all pages and covers. Envelope is 5.5 x 4.5 inches, all in excellent condition. See scans.
