German choir-leader, conductor and composer (1858-1929), founder of the Philharmonic Choral Society of Berlin, which he lead until 1920. Ochs also composed an opera, 2 operettas, choruses and canons, and songs. Autograph letter handwritten by him and signed in the last page, dated in 1923, with letterhead from the Oratorienschule der Staatlichen Akademischen Hochschule fur Musik in Charlottenburg. Four pages handwritten only on one side, 8.75 x 11 inches, they have folds and minor cracks over the folds, otherwise in very good condition. Sold untranslated - rare!
