Petipa, Marie Mariusovna - Unsigned Cabinet Photographs (Various Photos)

Noted Russian ballerina (1857-1930), daughter of Marius Petipa (1818-1910), the famous French ballet dancer, choreographer and pedagogue and dancer Maria Petipa (1836-1882). Marie Petipa was a very famous dancer in her time, and married dancer Serge Legat (1875-1905), who committed suicide at age 30.
