Raisa was a Polish-born American soprano (1893-1963), the choice to sing the title role of Turandot in the world premiere of the opera in 1926. The role of Calaf in the world premiere at La Scala was sung by Spanish tenor Miguel Fleta (1897-1938).
Duo of signed photo postcards with Raisa as Turandot and Fleta as Calaf in the world premiere production, sizes are 3.5 x 5.5 inches each, the Fleta autograph has a repaired crack over the left, not affecting his handwriting. Excellent, only sold as a pair and not separate.
