Large Signed Photo in "Theodora"

Original black-and-white photograph of the actress signed by her and inscribed with a short sentiment in French to the Dutch actor Lou Tellegen (who appears next to her in the photograph as Justinian in the play 'Theodora'), dated circa 1911 (date is partially erased); double blind-stamped on the front by The Dover Studios, London.
Size is 10.5 x 13.5 inches, professionally restored (it originally had some cracks, stains, and a slight loss of photographic material over the upper-left border), and currently in very good condition.
Bernhardt and Tellegen became lovers for four years, being Bernhardt 37 years her senior, during the second American tour of the celebrated actress. The sentiment translates as 'To my young friend Tellegen in remembrance of Theodora -his great friend Sarah Bernhardt'
