Poster signed by the entire cast of Silverlake, a music play in 3 acts by German-born composer Kurt Weill (1900-1950), performed in a free adaptation form in 1980 at The New York City Opera. Premiered in 1933 simultaneously in 3 theaters in Germany, Silverlake (original title: Der Silbersee: ein Wintermarchen) was Weill´s last opera-like work in his native country before he emigrated due to the Nazi persecution of the jews.
Large poster (13 x 23 inches), signed at the bottom (see detail photo) by the entire cast, 10 signatures in total

 

Names and roles are: Joel Grey (Olim), William Neil (Severin), Elisabeth Hynes (Fennimore), Elaine Bonazzi (Frau von Luber), Jack Harrold (Lottery Agent). Also signed by production director Harold Prince, famous orchestra conductor Julius Rudel, writer of the English libretto Hugh Wheeler, choreographer Larry Fuller - plus one unidentified signature (probably by scenery and costumes designer Manuel Lutgenhorst). In very good condition- rare!

Returns & Exchanges

Unsatisfactory items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for your choice of a store credit or a full refund. In order to qualify for a refund, items must first be returned in the exact same condition they were shipped. By default we ship via USPS, and provide the option to ship via FedEx or UPS. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable for any items that were already shipped, either returned or not.
