Star German opera composer (1813-1883), together with Giuseppe Verdi, Wagner was the most famous creator and a dominant figure in the genre for several decades of the 19th century.
One page autograph letter signed by him and dated in Luzern, 1870, written in German (sold with transcription and translation) where an upset Wagner complains about the delay on the publication of a brochure, asking to be expedited. Letter is matted with a modern print photo for a total size of 14.5 x 11 inches (actual letter is 4.7 x 6 inches - visible window size, and photo is 3.7 x 5.5 inches -visible window size), folds, in excellent condition.
