Austrian contralto (b. 1924), signed photograph, shown in title role of Bizet's Carmen, inscribed. Size is 4.25 x 5.75 inches, small crease on bottom left, otherwise in excellent condition.    

Austrian contralto (1924-2014), signed photograph, shown as Amneris in Verdi's Aida, dated in Munich in 1958. 3.25 x 5.25 inch photo mounted onto slightly larger card, total size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.  

American baritone (1892-1986). Beautiful black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, shown as Valentin in Gounod's Faust, dated in 1970. Size is 8 x 10.2 inches, in very good condition.

Hungarian-born Italian soprano and actress in silent films (1888-1980), also daughter of tenor Roberto Stagno and famed soprano Gemma Bellincioni. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. Blind stamped by photographer. Size is 6.5 x 9 inches, trimmed on top left and right corners and small crease on bottom right, not affecting the handwriting and signature. Otherwise in good condition.

Dutch soprano (1885-?), signed postcard photograph, shown as herself, inscribed and dated in 1928. Stamped on verso by Bourse photography studio, Brussels. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, slight crease on left middle corner, otherwise in very good condition.

English soprano (1906-1952), who married a German man, emigrated to Germany and became a British spy during World War II. She met Hitler and eventually was arrested and tortured by the Gestapo for being a spy, ended up imprisoned in a British war camp, where she sang for prisoners. Romanian soprano (1904-1992) and Italian-born American soprano (1909-2014), double signed postcard showing an image of the Torre Canne beach resort in Puglia, Italy. Written in English on the verso of the postcard. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, slight paper loss on edges, otherwise in excellent condition. 

French bass (1874-1951) who enjoyed a long association with New York's Metropolitan Opera. Signature cut, dated in 1925 following a program of Weber's Der Freischutz. Bold and clear handwriting and signature. Size is 2.5 x 4.25 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian baritone (1810-1890), starred in the 1842 world premiere performances of Verdi's Nabucco at La Scala, Milan as well as in the world premieres of 7 Donizetti operas. Autograph letter signed, written in London, 3 pages written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian baritone (1859-1911), signed card, signed in Vienna in 1897. Ritter was one of the leading baritones of his day, performing frequently in Salzburg and many other German theaters. Rare item with bold and clear handwriting and signature. Size is 3.5 x 4.25 inches, in excellent condition. 

Celebrated Swedish tenor (1925-2017). Signed album page with a half-tone image of himself and his signature on front side and half-tone image and the signature of soprano Elisabeth Roon on the verso (both signatures are on the album page itself and not the photo). Size is 3 x 4.75 inches, in excellent condition. 

Polish-born and Italian-trained Russian soprano (1893-1963) who became a naturalized American, possessed a voice of remarkable power, and was the creator of the title role of Puccini's last opera Turandot. Signature cut, dated in 1924. Size is 4.25 x 4.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

French mezzo (1858-?), autograph note signed, one page written on one side of a telegram, written in French and sold untranslated. Size of each page is 4.25 x 5.25 inches, some tears on far edges of the page but in otherwise good condition.

Italian soprano (1879-1956) who enjoyed an important international career, including a tour throughout North America with composer Pietro Mascagni and world premiered his opera "Parisina" in 1913. Beautiful photo postcard signed and inscribed by her, shown in the title role of Mascagni's "Parisina", dated in 1938. Size is 3.5 x 5.25 inches, tape residues on front and over the upper-left and lower-right corner, otherwise in excellent condition.

French bass (1851-1914), one of the most acclaimed basses of the Golden Age of Opera. Signature cut on a 2.25 x 3.25 inch card, written in New York in 1907, some rust on edges and on verso, not affecting the bold and clear handwriting and signature.  

Internationally celebrated English contralto Kathleen Ferrier, (1912-1953) who died at the peak of her fame, and her frequent accompanying pianist Phyliss Spurr (1910-1965). Double signed album page containing their handwritten signatures, Ferrier's in pencil and Spurr's in blue ink. Size is 3.75 x 6 inches, some rust above and on verso but signatures are clear and unaffected.  ALSO INCLUDED is a gorgeous unsigned photo of Ferrier, shown as herself, size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition. French soprano (1879-1941). Autograph letter signed, attractively embossed, written on the letterhead of the Grand Hotel, Hyeres, written in French on the first three pages of a folded 4-page document, sold untranslated. Each page (folded) is 4.25 x 6.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Star Czech soprano (1878-1930), who developed a very important career on both sides of the Ocean. Signed business card, dated in London in 1911 with a printed musical quote of music by Smetana just above the signature. Bold signature. Size is 2.5 x 4 inches, in very good condition.

American soprano/mezzo soprano (1861-1949), autograph note signed, written in Engish, dated in 1888, one 4.5 x 7 inch page with scotch tape in the middle of the page and small rust on verso but in otherwise good condition.  Also included: one very attractive unsigned cabinet photo, shown as herself, photo by Aimé Dupont, New York. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, slight rust on verso, but otherwise in excellent condition. Not sold separately. 

Italian baritone and voice teacher (1822-1907), who wrote books on singing and teaching.  Autograph letter signed, composed in 1863, 4 pages, written in Italian and sold untranslated. Each page is 4.25 x 7.25 inches (4-page folded document), beautifully preserved in excellent condition. 

English tenor (1910-1986), who partnered with composer Benjamin Britten and premiered many of Brittens' operas.  Signed album page, size is 4.5 x 5.25 inches, some tears at far left edges, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Austrian soprano (1849-1924), signature cut, attached to a larger album page (scanned photo is only of the signature and does not include image of the larger album page), total size of item is 8 x 11 inches, in excellent condition.

English contralto (1833-1882), sang internationally from the 1840s to the early 1880s. Signature cut of 3.5 x 5.5 inches, glued to a 7.75 x 11.25 inch page, in excellent condition.

French baritone (1798-1892). Autograph letter signed, 1 page written in French, sold untranslated. Bold and clear signature. Size is 5.25 x 7.75 inches, a rare item in very good condition!

Swiss tenor (1902-2010), pair of autograph letters signed, both written in English, 1 page each, and each 6 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition. Not sold separately.

American tenor (1840-1910). Signed 2.5 x 4 inch card, glued to a 5.5 x 7.5 inch album page, dated in Boston in 1882. Also included: unsigned photo, shown as himself, with several attached news clippings glued to a 7 x 9 inch album page, small tears on the edges of the page not affecting any of the text or image. Not sold separately.

American soprano (1851-1941). Autograph letter signed, written in Paris and attractively embossed. 3 pages written in French, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 4.5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

French soprano (1824-1905). Autograph letter signed, written in French at the Hotel Daniloff in St. Petersburg, dated in 1853, sold untranslated. 4 pages, each page is 5.25 x 8 inches, some folds, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Leading German tenor (1877-1958), created roles in several works by Pfitzner and other modern operas. Autograph note signed by him, in German, 1 page, dated in Ravensburg -his birthplace - in 1940. Sold untranslated. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

American soprano (b.1930). Autograph letter signed, written on the letterhead of the Hotel Tropicana, Las Vegas in 1961. 2 pages on both sides of a 5.5 x 8.5 inch document, small stains on various corners, otherwise in very good condition.

French tenor of Sicilian ancestry (b. 1963), and Lithuanian soprano (b.1961), double signed photograph, shown in roles at curtain calls following a performance of Verdi's Aida at La Scala, Milan, in 2006. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.
