All Newest Opera Autographs

Italian soprano (1797-1865), one of the greatest opera singers of the 19th century, who created the roles of Anna Bolena (Donizetti), Amina, and Norma (Bellini).  Folded note pass for three persons to see the rehearsal of Bellini's Norma at the King's Theater, London, signed and dated by the soprano on June 18th, 1833 (perhaps the British premiere of the opera).  Size is 3.9 x 4.9 inches, folds (see front and verso), some rust stains, in overall very good condition.  

American tenor (1873-1935), had an active international career in the early twentieth century. Signed postcard photograph, shown as himself, signed as "Maclennan" despite the misspelling of his last name in the printed name above his image. Photograph by Hermann Leiser, Berlin. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, some silvering at bottom edges of the photo, otherwise in excellent condition.

Georgian soprano (b.1983) and Russian bass (b. 1976), double signed photograph, shown in roles in Gounod's Romeo et Juliette at the 2008 Salzburg Festival. Size is 8 x 10.75 inches, in excellent condition.

English baritone (b. 1957), signed photograph, shown in role. Stamped on verso by photographer Arnaldo Colombaroli, Teatro Colon, Buenos Aires. Size is 4.75 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

American soprano (b. 1966?), signed photograph, shown as Amor in Rameau's Les Boreades at the Salzburg festival. Stamped on verso by photographer Schafller, Salzburg. Size is 4 x 6 inches, in excellent condition.

Star Irish tenor (1884-1945), world-famous for his recordings and performances of opera as well as popular songs.  Fantastic photograph signed by him, shown as himself. It is also has a printed signature on the front of photographer Autrey Kahle. Size is 8 x 10 inches, slight paper loss on the bottom-right outside area of photograph and signature, otherwise in excellent condition.  Watch Mr. McCormack singing in a clip of the 1929 film "The Rose of Tralee":

Star Irish tenor (1884-1945), world-famous for his recordings and performances of opera as well as popular songs.  Signed photograph, shown as himself. Also contains hand-written signature on front of photographer Hartsook. Size is 7 x 9.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

Star Australian soprano (1861-1931), who became one of the most famous singers of the late Victorian Era and the 20th century for her beautiful voice and technique. Autograph note signed, written in French, sold untranslated. 1 page, contains embossed symbol at the top. size is 7.25 x 8.75 inches in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED: very attractive unsigned postcard photograph, shown in role, photo by Reutinger, Paris. Size is 3.5 x 5.25 inches, attractive vintage item, in excellent condition. 

Polish baritone (1902-1992), also sang frequently at the Chicago opera from the late 1930s to the early 1950s. Signed photograph, shown as Escamillo in Bizet's Carmen, inscribed and dated in 1939. Stamped on verso by photographer Maurice Seymour, Chicago. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in very good condition.

Double stamped envelope signed by the American soprano and actress, double-dated on December 5th, 1935 and also on July 15th, 1936.  Size is 6.5 x 3.6 inches, in excellent condition

American soprano (dates unknown) who starred at the San Francisco Opera and other major American theatres in the 1930's and 40's. Attractive large signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed. American tenor, actor, and vocal teacher (1908-1998), best known for his role as Tom-Tom in the 1934 Laurel and Hardy holiday musical film Babes in Toyland.  Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1949.
