English soprano (1877-1955). Signed photo postcard, shown in the title role of  Frederick Fenn's comic opera Amasis: An Egyptian Princess. Photo by Rotary Photographers, London. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian mezzo-soprano, signed half-tone photo, shown in role. Size is 4.5 x 6.5 inches, in good condition.

American contralto (1897-1993), highly celebrated in her time, being the first black person, American or otherwise, to perform at the Metropolitan Opera.  Printed score for the song "Dearest Night" by Alfred Bachelet, signed by the American contralto on the front cover.  Size is 9 x 11.8 inches, 8 pages including covers, in excellent condition.

Austrian tenor (1891-1948), revered as one of the world's finest Mozartian tenors.  Signed printed score with three songs from his operetta "Der Singende Traüm", composed, signed and inscribed by him on the front cover, dated in Vienna, 1934.  This music was composed by Tauber for his lover, the Russian singer and actress Mary Losseff.  Size is 10.7 x 13.4 inches, 10 pages including covers, central fold, otherwise in very good condition.

Star Swedish tenor (1911-1960), one of the greatest of the 20th century.  Signed card dated by him in 1937, beautifully matted with a fine photograph of him.  Total size is 11.75 x 17.75 inches, card is 3.75 x 2.5 inches, photo is 7.75 x 9.75 inches (visible window size), all in excellent condition.

Italian tenor (1853-1916) who enjoyed an important international career, considered one of the most renowned and esteemed singers of his time.  Large photo signed, inscribed, and dated by him in Rome, 1908 (signed as "l'amico tuo Checco").  Photo is mounted on a mat by photographer Chevalier Felicetti, Rome.  Total size is 11.75 x 15.5 inches, actual photo is 6 x 8.3 inches, minor crack on the right border of the mat, wear on edges, small amount of rust on borders of the photo, in overall very good condition.

German soprano (1886-1977) who had a successful career as an interpreter of Strauss and Wagner heroines.  Larger size photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown in Richard Strauss II's operetta "A Night in Venice". Photo is ink-stamped on verso and signed in pencil on the front by photographer Edith Glogau, Vienna.  Total size is 9.8 x 14.9 inches, actual photo is 6.4 x 8.1 inches, creases on corners, otherwise in very good condition.

American soprano (1919-2004), known both for opera and American "swing" music which she sang with Tommy Dorsey. Signed photo, shown in role, inscribed with brief sentiment, dated in 1940. Stamped on verso by photographer Reuben Lawson, Cincinnati. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Swiss-born American pianist (1877-1972), and also conductor, composer, and music educator.  Autographs lot composed by 1 Autograph Letter Signed, 8 Typed Letters Signed, and 3 Telegrams.  Various sizes ranging from 8 x 6.25 inches to 8.5 x 11 inches, some items with folds, all in excellent condition. American coloratura soprano (1929-2007), very famous between the '50s and the '70s, and became the General Manager of the New York City Opera, chairwoman of the Lincoln Center and the Met Opera.    Larger size photo, shown during the curtain call at the end of her Farewell Gala on October 27th, 1980.  Size is 12.6 x 11 inches, written text "last bow" in ink on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1911-2005).  Larger size photo mounted on a mat, signed and inscribed by her, shown as Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto at Teatro La Scala, Milan, dated in Milan, 1948.  Total size is 11.75 x 15.3 inches, actual photo is 8.75 x 11.6 inches, dirt stains on the mat, photo is in excellent condition.

Star American contralto (1871-1947), one of the most beautiful voices of the golden era of singing.  Wonderful cabinet-style photo, signed by her shown in role, inscribed and dated in 1910; photo by Aimé Dupont.  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, some damage over the lower part of the photograph, mounting traces on verso.

Wonderful collection of 7 pages handwritten with text quotes and signed by different singers, including Bidu Sayao, Regina Resnik (2), Jon Vickers, Birgit Nilsson, Sherrill Milnes and Renata Scotto.  Each page is 8.5 x 11 inches in size, except Sayao's and Nilsson's which are 7.25 x 10.5 inches, all in excellent condition. Italian dramatic tenor (1871-1950) with an outstanding voice whose repertory included the heroic roles of Verdi and Wagner. Wonderful, larger size photograph half-tone print signed by him as "Sigfrido Borgatti", shown in the title role in Siegfried, inscribed and dated in Barcelona in 1910.  Total size is 9.75 x 13.25 inches, overall age-toning, some pinholes on borders, and loss of paper on the upper right corner, in very good condition.  Listen to Giuseppe Borgatti sing Lohengrin's aria "In fernem Land":

Ukrainian tenor (1882-1959).  Set of 8 printed scores of songs, signed by him on the front cover, with markings inside.  Some scores include works by Taneyev and Rachmaninoff.  Various sizes ranging from 8.6 x 11.4 inches to 10.5 x 14.25 inches, from 4 pages and up, all in good condition or better. Italian baritone (1882-1952), well known for her specialized performances in Verismo operas.  Large photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in Naples, 1912.  Photo is mounted on an original mat by photographer Alfredo Pesce, Naples.  Total size is 9.7 x 13.75 inches, actual photo is 6.1 x 8.9 inches, mat has jagged edges, in very good condition.

Celebrated American mezzo-soprano (b.1937) who later tackled soprano roles in a wide range of Italian, French, German and English repertory.  Large signed photo shown as Floria Tosca in Puccini's opera.  Size is 10.9 x 14 inches, minor damages on edges, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian tenor (1870-1940), known internationally for his interpretations of the Bel Canto repertory, being a famous competitor of star tenor Enrico Caruso.  Large signed photo shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1930.  Photo is mounted on a photographer mat by Francesco Reale, Roma.  Total size is 10.25 x 14.1 inches, actual photo is 6.4 x 9.6 inches, minor scratches and wear on photo, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian tenor (1898-1975).  Large signed photo shown in role (probably as Rodolfo in La Boheme), inscribed with a short sentiment to soprano Mafalda Favero, dated in Lecce, 1930.  Mat also is signed in ink by photographer T. Santacroce, Milano, and ink-stamped on verso.   Total size is 9.9 x 13.6 inches, actual photo is 5.9 x 8.5 inches, loss of paper over lower-right corner, dirt over edges, in good condition.

American coloratura soprano (1886-1963) who sang at the Metropolitan Opera from 1914 to 1921.  Larger size mat with a photograph of her shown as herself, signed and inscribed by her.  Original mat by photographer Mishkin, New York.  Total size is 9 x 12.9 inches, actual photo is 5.8 x 7.9 inches, water damage over the lower border, loss of paper over upper and lower left corners, in good condition.
