German tenor (1930-1966), considered one of the best lyric tenors of the 20th century, remarkable in Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Strauss roles.  Signed promo photo, shown as himself, 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian soprano (1797-1865), one of the greatest opera singers of the 19th century. Pasta created the title role in Anna Bolena (opera by Donizetti) and Amina in La Sonnambula plus the title role in Norma (both operas by Bellini). Autograph letter signed, to her mother (first page) and somebody else called Celia (page three), from Berlin, no year, second page is in left in blank. Four folded pages, each one is 5.3 x 8.75 inches, in Italian, sold untranslated, in very good condition. 

Italian soprano (1811-1869), creator of the role of Adalgisa in Norma, autograph letter signed by her, written in London. Three pages, plus a 4th with addressee, Mr Vatel, from the Theatre Italienne in Paris, stamps indicating this is from June 1842. In Italian, a translation into English is provided, Grisi is asking for permission to sing in concerts in collaboration with Giovanni Mario and Rubini, to make up their losses in that season.  Each page is 7.25 x 9 inches, folds, small loss of paper on page 3 and 4, otherwise in very good condition. Star Italian tenor (1850-1905), chosen by Verdi for the title role in the world premiere of Otello in 1887. He also was one of the first Italian tenors to have left recordings. Signed photo, shown in the title role in Otello, the role he created in the world premiere, inscribed and dated in Buenos Aires in 1896. Size is 4.6 x 7.25 inches, in excellent condition. Rare!

Austro-Hungarian and Romanian tenor and actor (1904-1942) who passed away still young, being at a peak in popularity. Signed promo photo postcard, size is 4.25 x 5.75 inches, together with a small vintage booklet promoting his semi-biopic film "Ein Lied Geht um di Welt" (A Song goes around the world) from 1933, sized 6 x 9 inches, 4 pages with nice pictures inside.
