American tenor and actor (1921-1959), a Hollywood movie star in the 1940s and 1950s, famous for his role in the movie about Caruso. Signed TIME magazine cover (signed twice!), from August 1951, mounted on hard cardboard, has some folds, both signatures are dated by him in 1951. Size is 7.8 x 11 inches, in very good condition.

Polish dramatic soprano (1893-1963), famous for her international career and for creating the role of Turandot (opera by Puccini), in the world premiere at La Scala in 1926. Great signed photo, shown in the title role in Norma, inscribed, 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

German soprano (1857-1939), whose international career focused mostly on Wagner roles, and left a few, rare recordings. Beautiful cabinet photograph signed by her, shown probably in role, a photo by W. Hoffert, Berlin.  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Star Spanish-born soprano (1843-1919), one of the greatest singers of the 19th century. Signed photo postcard, shown as herself, dated in 1907. A postcard by C. Coquelin, Paris, 3.5 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

German bass-baritone (1906-1959), signed photo postcard, shown in Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen. Stamped on verso by photographer Hans Straus, Munich. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches with a small stain to the right of the photo but otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian baritone (1883-1949), signed postcard photo, shown as himself. Inscribed and dated in Barcelona (possibly 1914?). Very attractive photo with bold and clear handwriting and signature. Size is 3.3 x 5.3 inches some small dots near the top of the photo but otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian tenor (1878-1936), signed photo postcard, shown as Tristan in Wagner's Tristan und Isolde. Considered the leading Italian Wagnerian tenor of his day, sang at La Scala, the Met and Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires and left several recordings. Inscribed with sentiment, dated 1920. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, with some silvering and wear on edges not affecting the signature.

Fine photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, shown as himself,  dated in Milan, 1911; photo by Carlo De Marchi, Milan.  Actual photograph is 6 x 9 inches mounted on a 4-page booklet with a protective cover. Total Size is 7 x 10.75 inches in excellent condition.

French baritone (1848-1935), particularly associated with the French repertory and Mozart roles. Beautiful photograph signed boldly and inscribed by him, shown as himself, dated in 1930. Photo is mounted on a cardboard frame with solid backing. Size is 5.1 x 7.4 inches with some wear on edges, silvering, and tape residues by the top (not affecting the signature); otherwise in excellent condition.

French baritone (1848-1935), signed photo, shown as himself. Sang at Covent Garden and many other famous opera houses and left recordings.Inscribed with bold signature, dated 1870. Attractive postcard photo mounted on large cardboard frame with solid backing. Size is 6.75 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian star tenor (1921-2008), admired for his extremely beautiful voice, partner of Maria Callas and Tito Gobbi on stage and in most of her studio recordings. Signed photo, shown in role (probably in Rigoletto), inscribed and dated by him in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1950. Size is 6.8 x 9 inches, probably trimmed from a larger original size, in excellent condition.

American soprano (1896-1951), signed photo, shown as herself. Sang primarily at the Metropolitan Opera in the 1920's and 30's, later became a mystery writer best known for "Murder at the Met". Inscribed with clear signature, very rare. Size is 4.8 x 6.75 inches with a horizontal crease across the bottom of the photo not affecting the signature. Otherwise in very good condition.
