German soprano (1878-1952). She made her debut in 1898 as Agathe in Weber's Der Freischütz at the Müncher Hofoper. The debut was successful and the critics were full of praise for her beautiful voice as well as her beauty. Signed photo postcard as Senta in Wagner's Der Fliegende Holländer. Star Italian baritone (1877-1953) whose real name was actually Ruffo Titta Cafiero (Ruffo was his first name) - He developed a long and very successful career in the Americas and Europe. Signed photo, shown as Tonio in Pagliacci at the Chicago Lyric Opera, inscribed. A GORGEOUS, original photo by photographer Matzene, Chicago. Size is 5.25 x 9 inches, apparently a triangular section over the right of the photo was accidentally trimmed and glued back together, mounting both pieces on hard acid-free cardboard. Trimming did not affect the signature or his image, but the line is visible. Priced accordingly.

American soprano (1877-1956), who developed her career in the most important theaters in Europe. Signed cabinet photo, shown as Elsa in Lohengrin at Paris Opera, where she performed this role for the first time. Photo by Reutlinger, Paris. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Famous English mezzo-soprano (1856-1925), who sang in many opera houses and concert halls, later focused on education and opera production as well. Nice signed cabinet photo, shown as Amneris in Aida at La Monneie, inscribed to baritone Hans Schütz (1862-1917), with a short sentiment in German. Photo by Dupont, Brussels. Star American soprano (1882-1967), Italian baritone (1866-1936), Polish-born German soprano (1877-1962), Polish bass (1874-1946), Belgian soprano (1873-1953), Italian baritone (1859-1918), Spanish bass (1874-1953), and American soprano (1878-1922) Stunningly beautiful, multiple signed photograph of the US Premiere of "Le Donne Curiose" (The Curious Women), opera by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari, on January 3rd, 1912. This was also the world premiere of the opera in Italian language, Arturo Toscanini conducted. Signed by almost the entire cast, Hermann Jadlowker´s name is handwritten under his image. Photo is 9.75 x 7.75 inches, was trimmed on the left and right borders and 2 signatures were partially cut in the process (Pietro Audisio and Angelo Bada), all the rest are complete, photo is in excellent condition. Very rare!

Norwegian soprano (1895-1962), one of the greatest Wagnerian dramatic singers of the 20th century. A restrained and expressive stage performer, she was admired internationally for her voice's sheer tonal beauty, power, stamina, security and consistency of line and tone. Gorgeous signed photo mounted in a 8 x 9.75-inch mat, photo is 4.75 x 6.5 inches, shown in the title role in Alceste (opera by Gluck), her last role!. In excellent condition

German tenor (1870-1940), very successful in Europe and in The Metropolitan Opera, where he performed over 1000 times. Signed photograph shown as the broom maker in Konigskinder (opera by Engelbert Humperdinck), a role he created for the world premiere at the Met Opera in 1910. Size is 11 x 13.75 inches, photo by White, New York; crease in the center, otherwise in very good condition.
