Belgian tenor (1895-1962), who sang at the Met Opera in the 1930s and 40s. Great original signed photo, 8 x 10 inches, shown as Lohengrin, dated in New York in 1940, inscribed. Some damage at the top, lower right border, not affecting the signature, priced accordingly.

German tenor (1845-1900). His Wagner repertoire included all the leading tenor roles except Walther in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg.  His non-Wagner roles included Otello, Canio, Aeneas and Benvenuto Cellini. He was known for his vocal power and stamina, which allowed him to perform Loge, Siegmund and both Siegfrieds from Wagner's Ring cycle on consecutive evenings multiple times. Signed photo postcard showing the tenor as Lohengrin in Wagner's Opera, with a handwritten note at the bottom. Also handwritten on verso, dated in 1899. Size 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Rare!

Italian tenor (1876-1929), very famous in the 1900s for singing across Europe, Russia, and South America, later becoming a teacher and a composer. Fine black and white photo postcard signed by him, shown young as himself. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. Listen to Giuseppe Anselmi's recording of "Una Furtiva Lagrima" from Donizetti's "L'Elisir d'Amore":

Spanish tenor (1869-1919), who developed an important international career in Europe, USA, and South America; later lived in Mexico where he passed away from a nervous breakdown at age 50. French-born tenor (1903-1978), very famous in the 1930s and 1940s, for his large voice, great for dramatic roles, who left a good amount of recordings. Signed photograph, shown in role (probably as Werther or Cavaradossi) at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he debuted in 1936. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches. Stamped on verso by photographer Sudak, Buenos Aires, in excellent condition.
