New Zealand-born Australian-raised soprano (1879-1952), who achieved fame during the first three decades of the 20th century due to her outstanding voice and her onstage partnerships with Enrico Caruso at the Metropolitan Opera. Beautiful cabinet photograph by Reutlinger (Paris) signed by the soprano, dated in Paris, 1909.  Size is 4.25 x 6.4 inches, pinhole over the top border, mounting traces on verso, in excellent condition.

French contralto (1875-1932), a major singer in Paris at the Opéra-Comique, and enjoyed an international career in the 1890s through to the 1910s. Beautiful cabinet photograph by Reutlinger (Paris), signed and inscribed by the singer, shown in role (probably as Santuzza).  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, pinhole over the upper border, ink markings on verso, in excellent condition.
