German mezzo-soprano of Jewish origin (1905-1983), later obtained Hungarian citizenship after being forced out of Germany following the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazis. Signed publicity photograph, shown as herself or in role, inscribed with sentiment, dated in Berlin in 1932. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, small ink stains on verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

Polish tenor (1850-1925), who became one of the stars of the Metropolitan Opera in New York during the 1890s and early 1900s.  Album page signed by him with a short sentiment in French, dated in London, 1890.  Size is 4.4 x 7.1 inches, mat burn marks, folds, otherwise in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned photograph of the tenor shown as Raoul in Meyerbeer's "Les Huguenots"

Italian-American mezzo-soprano (1891-1989), who performed under the stage name of Stella de Mette, and sang in opera houses across Europe and the United States from the early 1910s to about 1942. Signed photograph, shown in the title role of Bizet's Carmen, inscribed in Italian at the San Carlo Opera company, dated in 1921. Size is 7.5 x 10 inches, some creases and bends, as well as rust stains on verso, otherwise in good condition.

Italian baritone (1872-1930), active at La Scala, the Royal Opera, Covent Garden and other leading theatres in the early twentieth century, from 1919-1930 and who was an active member of the administrative apparatus at La Scala.   Signed photograph, shown as Amfortas in Wagner's Parsifal. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some rust on the edges and throughout the verso, otherwise in good condition.
