Romanian soprano (1910-1949), considered one of the biggest stars in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s, particularly in Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and Strauss operas. Signed photo, shown as Aminta in the world premiere of Richard Strauss's Die Schweigsame Frau in Dresden, 1935. Size is 3.5 x 5 inches, placed on a larger card of 4 x 6.25 inches, with the signature underneath the photo over the card, in excellent condition.

Romanian soprano (1910-1949), considered one of the biggest stars in Europe during the '30s and '40s, particularly in Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and Strauss operas.  Printed personal score of the aria "Un bel dí vedremmo" from Act 2 of Puccini's Madama Butterfly, signed on the front cover (top) by her and handwritten lyrics in German (black fountain ink) and in Romanian (blue fountain ink) by her (not shown in pictures).  Size is 10.25 x 13.5 inches, 6 pages, loose covers with some cracks, folds, central fold, loss of paper over upper right corner; inner pages are in very good condition, with some cracks.

Promotional  German-language program for the film "Drei Frauen um Verdi" (in English "the Three Women of Verdi) - which featured the celebrated Romanian Soprano Maria Cebotari (1910-1949) in the role of Teresina Stolz and also starred the great Italian tenor Beniamino Gigli (1890-1957). The unfolded 24 page document contains several images of her as herself and in role, along with several of her co-stars as well as a synopsis of the plot, details regarding the performers etc. Written in German, sold untranslated. Size of each page is 8.25 x 11.75 inches, in excellent condition.  Also included: unsigned photograph of Cebotari as Stolz, a photo by Tobis, size is 9 x 11.5 inches, small creases and bullet holes on far corners, otherwise in good condition. Not sold separately.

Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed by him with a short sentiment dated 1913. Size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches, some silvering around borders, otherwise in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a modern photo postcard (from the 1990s) of him and Anna Pavlova in rehearsal in 1907.

Italian ballet dancer (1850-1928), mime, and pedagogue. Page from a magazine or book signed by him and dated 1916, shown in costume. Size is 7.5 x 10.4 inches, trimmed corners, repaired crack at the bottom center.  On verso there is an image of Lydia Sokolova and Nicholas Kremneff.

Italian ballet manager, and younger brother of the celebrated Italian ballet teacher Enrico Cecchetti (1850-1928). Beautiful set of 2 autograph letters in Italian (sold with translations) signed by Giuseppe Cecchetti, dated in 1912 and 1913. Size is 8.5 x 10.75 inches each, both in excellent condition.

Bold and clear handwriting and signature. 7 x 9.5 inch photo mounted onto a photographer mat (writing is on the bottom of the mat), total item size is 8.75 x 13 inches, some wear on the far edges of the cardboard, photo itself is in excellent condition.
