Luxury program nicely illustrated for a performance of Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov by Opera Russe on tour at Theatre des Champs Elysees, Paris, during the 1930s, starred by the famous Russian bass, Marie Davidova, Ganna Walska, and Bronislava Nijinska (ballet master).  Size is 9.2 x 11.75 inches, full program with all pages and covers, in very good condition.

Ensembles include the Amadeus Quartet, the Istomin - Stern - Rose trio, the Bach Aria Group and the Royal Swedish Chamber Orchestra. Fine autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by her mounted on cardboard, dated in La Seyne, March 2, 1916, to a gentleman:  “…Je suis encore surmenée à cette maison militaire où je suis présidente et ouù je me suis  oubliée pour fair chanter les hymnes nationaux à nos pauvres mutilés…”. Open size is 10.7 x 8.3 inches, 3 written pages in one folded sheet, folds, creases, printed letterhead, in overall very good condition.
