American comic actress (1908-2001), active between 1925-1996. Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment. Size is 8 x 10.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Slumber scene, etching and engraving by Nicolas Cochin (1610-1686) after Giacomo Torelli (1608-1686). The stage setting designed by Torelli for this early comic opera by Francesco Sacrati, composed in Venice in 1641 - one of the earliest comic operas. The Paris production of 1645, illustrated here, was the first attempt of any importance to introduce Italian opera into France. Fine impression with small margins, size is 9.9 x 12.9 inches, excellent condition - rare!.

Scottish naval officer (1775-1860), peer, mercenary, and politician, nicknamed by Napoleon as "the Sea Wolf". Autograph letter signed by him and dated in Paris, on June 19, 1812, about politics and the importance of acquiring steam vessels. Size is 7.2 x 8.6 inches, 3 written pages in one folded sheet, in overall very good condition.

English singer (1944-2014) known for his gritty, bluesy voice and dynamic stage performances. LP record for his album "Joe Cocker!" (1969) signed by him on the cover; authentication sticker by JSA on verso over the lower-right border. Size is 12.25 x 12.25 inches, some wear, in overall good condition. LP record included (not tested).

English singer (1944-2014) known for his gritty, bluesy voice and dynamic stage performances. Color photograph signed by him with a short sentiment ("Cheers!"), shown in performance. Size is 10 x 8 inches, minor crease over the top, otherwise in excellent condition.

French poet (1889-1963) and also writer, designer, playwright, artist and filmmaker. Signed card, with a short sentiment, attached with a half-tone photograph of him, dated by him in 1960. Size is 5 x 3.25 inches, in excellent condition.

French tenor (1850-1925) shown in role (probably as DesGrieux in Massenet´s Manon), unsigned cabinet-style photo. Size is 3.6 x 6.25 inches, spotted rust and minor silvering, otherwise in very good condition.

French tenor (dates unknown), prominent in the early twentieth century. Lot of 5 signed photos, including 3 cabinet photos, shown in role in Le Jongleur de Notre Dame, Rigoletto, and Tosca, and 2 additional photos shown as himself. Cabinet photos are each 4.25 x 6.5 inches with additional very attractive images advertising the photographers and photo studios on verso (see scans). The other photos include one 5 x 7 inch item and a 3.5 x 5.5 inch photo postcard with a fairly faded image. All are in excellent condition, sold only as lot.

American singer (b.1939) and songwriter; active since 1967. Original poster for a concert on July 13th, 2017, in New York, signed by him with a silver color felt tip pen. Size is 11 x 17 inches, rolled, in excellent condition.

Fine playbill announcing the performance of Rossini's opera Zelmira featuring Isabella Colbran (Rossini's first wife) in the title role in Vienna, May 1822. Size is 14.25 x 9 inches, creases, folds, rust stains, in overall very good condition.  Colbran created the role of Zelmira in its world premiere months earlier to this performance.
