Group of 54 signed photographs, showing a variety of leading opera singers from the 1970s to the present, both in role and as themselves. Most are "mugshot photos" of 4 x 6 inches, several are 5 x 7 inches. Artists include such leading singers as Piero Cappuccilli, Natalie Dessay, Thomas Hampson, Kurt Moll, and Raina Kabaivanska. Not sold separately.

Italian conductor (1877-1948), composer, and professor of piano at Torino Conservatory between 1936 and 1948. Autograph letter in Italian signed by him and dated 1913 (according to postal markings), addressed to journalist Nino Berrini (1880-1962) informing him about the poor health of one of his closest friends. Open size is 10.4 x 6.9 inches approx., 4 written pages in one folded sheet, central fold, creases, in very good condition. Its original envelope is ALSO INCLUDED.

American harpist (?-1942), who was the first harpist of the Chicago Grand Opera, large signed photo, inscribed. Blind stamp on front by Otto Sarony, Boston. Size is 7.75 x 12.5 inches, some cracks, otherwise in very good condition.

Italian soprano (1889-1975), large signed photo, shown in role. Inscribed to Leo Riemens. Attractive image and costume. Size is 5.5 x 7.8 inches with some very slight silvering at top of photo not affecting the image and signature and bending on corners but otherwise in very good condition.

Italian conductor (1855-1919). Nice larger cabinet photo by Dolce (Montevideo) signed and inscribed by Conti with a short sentiment dated in San Pablo, 1893. Size is 6.6 x 9.6 inches, small hole over the upper-left border, minor spotted rust, in overall very good condition.

American composer and director (b.1942), best known for his film scores, including Rocky (and four of its sequels), For Your Eyes Only, and others. Signed photo, shown conducting. Size is 8 x 10 inches.

Gary Cooper signed and inscribed this photo with a short sentiment on the lower right corner. In excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED are two large size, original unsigned photographs from the same set, also stamped on verso by photographer Coburn, same size, in excellent condition.
