Set of 3 vintage prints with caricatures of famous opera singers Christina Nilsson (L'Eclipse, 1868), Adelina & Carlota Patti (La Lune, 1866) and Marie Sass (La Lune, 1867).  Each one corresponds to a front page of a 4-pages Newsletter.  Each one's size is 12.75 x 18.5 inches, folds, minor cracks, in very good condition. SOLD TOGETHER, NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.

Lot of 16 unsigned cabinet-type photos from the Opera Comique and Theatre Italien, Paris, dated 1874-1875. Each one is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, some are dirty with dust, probably caused by water damage.  Singers names are: Adelina Patti, Alice Ducasse, Anna de Belocca, Berthe Thibaut, Emma Mauduit, Josephine Daram, Julia Hisson in L´Africaine, Marguerite Chapuy, Marie Breval, Marie Heilbron, Marie Miolan-Carvalho as Juliette in Romeo et Juliette (a role she created in the 1867 world premiere of this opera by Charles Gounod), Marie Roze as Marguerite in Faust,  Melanie Reboux, Pauline Gueymard-Lauters in La Coupe du roi de Thule, Rosine Bock in Il Trovatore and Zina Dalti. Scans may show some trimming on borders, actual items are not trimmed. Photos are in various conditions, some scratches, broken corners, sold as a lot and as is, not individually.  ALSO INCLUDED are 4 unidentified cabinet-type photos of V. Krauss, Ferucci, Arnaud and Favart (see last 4 scans), making the total of photos equal to 20.

German actress (1927-2013) of both films and theater.  Fine casual color photograph signed by her with a short sentiment, shown at an old age.  Size is 7.8 x 11.75 inches, in excellent condition.

American writer (1789-1851) of historical romances in Colonial and Indigenous times. Receipt mounted on hard cardboard signed by him matted together with a lithograph with his image. Total size is 14 x 11.1 inches, receipt's size is 5.5 x 2.25 inches, in very good condition.

American dancer (b.1954) and choreographer. Capezio-brand single dancing shoe signed by her (not used in performance). Size is 9.5 x 2.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian baritone (1819-1891), who created roles in several world opera premieres, including Verdi's Il Giorno di Regno. Autograph letter signed, with additional writing by another hand at the top of the first page and throughout the second page, with Ferlotti's text and signature at the bottom of the first page. 2 pages, written on both sides of a 6 x 8.5 inch document, written in Italian, sold untranslated. Some rust at the bottom of the document but in generally good condition. 

Italian soprano (1805-1853), document signed by her in 1827, and by another hand below her signature. 1 page written in Italian, sold untranslated. Size is 7.25 x 11 inches, small bullet hole on top right and some rust throughout but otherwise in good condition.

Slovenian mezzo-soprano (1895-1924), signed photo, shown in role, inscribed at Teatro San Carlos, Lisbon, dated in 1921. Size is 3.75 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian soprano ((1849-1934). Autograph letter in Italian (untranslated) signed by her. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches, 3 written pages in 1 folded sheet, letterhead, in very good condition.

French actor and singer (1903-1971), active in films between 1908 and 1970. Great black and white photograph signed by him, dated in 1957. Photograph is ink-stamped on verso by photographer Sam Levin, Paris.  Size is 4.1 x 5.75 inches, minor damages on corners, otherwise in very good condition.

French comic actor (1903-1971), whose real name was Fernand Joseph Contandin; active 1908-1970.Fine black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment. Size is 7 x 9.2 inches, missing upper-right corner, otherwise in very good condition.

French actor and singer (1935-2011).  Fine black and white half-tone photograph from a promo brochure of one of his records, signed by him.  Size is 5.25 x 7.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Spanish violinist (1863-1939), conductor, and composer who made his name as a virtuoso violinist and later as one of Spain's greatest conductors. His original visiting card with a short handwritten message by him. Size is 3.75 x 2.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Argentine pianist (1922-?). Black-and-white photograph inscribed and signed by her with a short sentiment dated 1955. Size is 4.3 x 6.8 inches, in excellent condition.

American ballet dancer (1929-1980). Signed photo shown dancing, inscribed. Size is 8 x 10 inches, attached to an album page (9.4 x 11.25 inches), in very good condition.

American soprano (b. 1949), signed photograph, shown in the title role of the 1981 film Diva. Size is 7 x 9.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Spanish violinist and composer (1863-1939), also conductor, one of the most important representatives of the violin school in Spain. Autograph music quote signed by him, including 2 full bars entitled by him as "Tempo di Bolero" (probably from the first part of his "Three Original Pieces Spanish Style", op. 1. Stamped on verso by photographer Bertazzini, Torino. ALSO INCLUDED: Autograph musical quote signed of the first bars of "Celeste Aida" Radames' aria in Verdi's Aida.  Musical quote is on front side of a 4 x 6 inch card, with Fernandi's clear and bold signature just above the musical quote. Both items in excellent condition, not sold separately.

Italian concert violinist (1845-1916), student with de Beriot and Vieuxtemps in Paris, where he performed with his sister Teresa from a very young age - later in life became a teacher. Autograph letter signed by him and his sister and also violinist Teresa Ferni, inviting someone to attend a concert with both, dated in 1859. One page, 8.4 x 10.25 inches, folds, in very good condition.
