This is a 7.25 x 8.5 inch album page which also contains a small (1.75 x 3 inch) half tone photo of her as Brunnhilde in Wagner's Ring, her most celebrated role. In excellent condition.

Soviet pilot and cosmonaut (1934-1968), and first human to journey into outer space in 1961, while Pavel Popovich was his CAPCOM (capsule communicator) at space control, later had a long career himself in space missions and in training. Wonderful double signed photo, with a text quote by Gagarin (translation from Russian): "Our generation fulfilled mankind´s biggest dream - flight into space!". A rare, highly desirable autograph photo of the first man in space, with a very nice quote!. Size is 7.9 x 10.1 inches, in excellent condition.

French bass-baritone (1848-1918). Two Autograph Letters signed. The first one has 3 pages of text on a 4-page folded document, written on the letterhead of the Paris Opera, the second is 2 pages of an unmarked 4-page folded document. Both are written in French and sold untranslated. Size of the first (longer) letter when unfolded is 10.5 x 5.25 inches; the second letter unfolded is 9.5 x 4.75 inches, both are in excellent condition.

French bass (1848-1918), set of  two unsigned cabinet photos probably in Meyerbeer's Les Huguenots, photo by Chalot, Paris. Each one is 5.1 x 8.5 inches, slightly fading, in very good condition. Not sold separately.

Beautiful silk program for the 1958 concert celebrating Royal Opera House centennial in the presence of the Queen. Maria Callas sings a scene and aria from I Puritani. Program also includes other famous performers, such as Joan Sutherland, Jon Vickers, dancer Margot Fonteyn, and conductors Rafael Kubelik and John Pritchard (see photo details). Large size: 11.5 x 21.5 inches, at the top program is wrapped around a nicely decorated wooden stick and the original, small tube that it came with (see the first picture, over the left).

Beautiful, rare program for a performance of opera in 1902 at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, celebrating the visit of Prince Henry of Prussia. Large size, 10.5 x 14 inches, in silk. Performers are Milka Ternina, Ernestine Schumann-Heink, Johanna Gadski, Eduard de Reszke, Emma Calve, Antonio Scotti, Emma Eames, Louise Homer, Marcella Sembrich, Lucienne Breval, and other stars!. The performance included 6 parts, each one being an act from a famous opera - way too much, as we know the prince left after several hours and before part 5 (act I from La Traviata) was going to be performed. For this reason, Marcella Sembrich refused to perform in La Traviata and performance continued with part 6 (Le Cid, opera by Massenet).  Some wrinkles, otherwise in excellent condition

Large 1-page program for a gala performance at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London in 1905, in honor of the King of Spain. Program includes many star singers: Enrico Caruso, Charles Dalmores, Nellie Melba, Antonio Scotti, etc with Andre Messager and Luigi Mancinelli conducting. Size is 11.25 x 15.5 inches, has folds, otherwise in very good condition. 

Russian dancer (1890-?) also known as Ketty de Galantha, member of the Ballets Russes and also had a career as an actress; moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1922. Set of two signed photographs: the first one is a photograph matted on a photographer mat signed and inscribed by her, dated 1927; blind-stamped on the front by photographer Lutz Ferrando (Buenos Aires). Size is 8 x 12.5 inches, in excellent condition. The second photograph is a black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment on verso, dated 1926; blind-stamped on the front by photographer Bixio (Buenos Aires). Size is 3.3 x 5.25 inches, vertical crease, some silvering, in very good condition. SOLD TOGETHER, NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.
