Catalan mezzo-soprano (1876-1943) and wife of the celebrated tenor Giovanni Zenatello. 2-bar autograph music quote from Bizet's Carmen attached to a photo postcard of the artist shown as Carmen and mounted on a piece of cardboard, signed by her and dated in 1907. Size is 3.4 x 5.3 inches, in very good condition.

Catalan mezzo-soprano (1876-1943) and wife of the celebrated tenor Giovanni Zenatello.  Large photo signed by her, shown as herself, dated in 1912; and also signed in pencil by the photographer (illegible name).  Size is 9.1 x 12.8 inches, small crack at the bottom and left border, small loss of paper over the upper-left corner, otherwise in very good condition.

Star Spanish tenor (1844-1890), considered one of the best singers of the late part of the 19th century. Gayarre created the role of Enzo in the world premiere of La Gioconda and Marcello in the premiere of Il Duca d`Alba.  Large print, showing him as Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles (The Pearl Fishers), opera by Bizet, one of his most celebrated roles - and the last one he performed on stage in the infamous night he lost his voice at Teatro Real in Madrid, just 25 days before his death. Boldly signed by Gayarre at the top, inscribed to a nobleman, size is 8.6 x 9.75 inches, in excellent condition. Very rare!!

Beautiful program for a concert at Buckingham Palace, June 23rd 1886. Singers were, among others, star sopranos Adelina Patti and Emma Albani, plus star Spanish tenor Julian Gayarre (who could not sing that day due to sickness, as mentioned in a short note attached to the back). English baritone Charles Santley, French mezzo- Zelia Trebelli and Irish bass Allan J. Foli complete the cast. In superb condition, 7.5 x 9 inches, beautifully printed in relief in quality paper - very rare!

Larger size playbill announcing that star tenor Julian Gayarre will be performing during a period of 2 months (October through December, 1888) at Teatro del Liceo, Barcelona, Spain, with the Italian Opera Company. A total of 4 pages, 8.7 x 12.75 inches, central fold, some cracks, in very good condition.
