Includes full English translations of each of the pieces performed (mostly Schubert's Die Schone Mullerin). 3 folded pages (each two-sided, 6 pages in total), each sized 8.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition.   

American rock singer and songwriter (b.1950), leader of the band "Foreigner" (1977-1990, 1992-2003). LP album record "Double Vision" signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment. Size is 12.3 x 12.3 inches, small storage hole on the sleeve verso, in excellent condition. LP included (not tested).

Italian stage and film actress (1874-1965), active between 1919 and 1962.  Fine photo postcard signed by her.  Size is 3.4 x 5.4 inches, small creases over the lower-left corner, overall age-toning, in very good condition.

The Gramophone magazine is a UK-based monthly magazine dedicated to classical music, particularly to reviews of recordings, but with a large amount of content related to artists and composers. The first issue was in 1923, this publication is now 100 years old and has become a world authority in classical music. Treasured by a collector for over half a century, these bound volumes are full of interesting articles about classical music and opera recordings and performers, and a treasure trove of interesting information, photos, reviews, and more.All 53 volumes are bound, each one is approximately 8.5 x 11 inches, and thickness varies a lot depending on the volume. Large size vintage print depicting a scene from Verdi's Il Trovatore at Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona (singers' names printed below: Goldberg, Didiee, Agresti, Mattioli, Rodas).  Ink writing over lower border indicating date February 1857.  Size is 14.6 x 10.3 inches, folds, in overall very good condition.

Piece of paper with his signature (probably the bottom of a letter). Size is 3.75 x 3.2 inches, in every good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is an unsigned photo postcard of him. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Spanish pianist and composer (1867-1916) and composer, his music is in a uniquely Spanish style and, as such, is representative of musical nationalism. Fantastic historical document, signed 7 times by both Enrique Granados and playwright/librettist Jose Feliu i Codina (1845-1897), determining the terms for the creation and performances of the opera "Maria del Carmen". In this document, the rights to write that opera with music by Granados are granted, while Codina will adapt the play of the same name that Codina created. Terms for profit distribution of future performances are also established. Premiered in Milan in 1898 under the composer´s baton, Maria del Carmen was highly successful with the public. Granados had the original manuscript of "Maria del Carmen" in his luggage when he was drowned in the 1916 sinking of the "Sussex" ship by a German submarine. His luggage, and the score, were later recovered from the wreck. Document has 7 pages, each except the last are 9.5 x 13.25 inches, and each one is signed. In Spanish, sold untranslated, folds and a few stains, in overall very good condition. A very important historical document, autographs by Granados are hard to find. ALSO INCLUDED is a document from the estate of Feliu i Codina determining that this double signed contract is among his possessions.

Season program for the Grand Ballet du Marquis de Cuevas company listing all the ballet performances for the 1951 season, including pictures of some of the performers.  Size is 8.3 x 10.6 inches, central fold, otherwise in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED are two playbills for performances at the Theatre de L'Empire, Paris, May 1951 (one of them with lipstick markings). Size is 6.1 x 9.6 inches each, in excellent condition.

Original poster for a Broadway production of the musical Grand Hotel at The Martin Beck Theatre, signed by many members of the cast. Size is 14 x 22 inches, in excellent condition.

Silk program for the inauguration night of the Grand Opera House (St Louis, Missouri) on August 29, 1881, featuring the famous actor and comedian Joseph K. Emmet (1841-1891). Size is 19.75 x 11.5 inches, folds, some wear, in overall very good condition.

One of the most important theaters in France and Europe, and hosting the Opera National de Lyon, the Grand Theatre has over 200 years of history.  Small collection of 29 programs for opera performances, all between 1918-1948, complete with all pages and covers. Some important performers, most are 7.6 x 10.5 inches, some have pencil markings that can be easily erased, in good to excellent condition. See pictures of one of the covers and all the central (cast) pages. Not sold separately, sold as a lot only. 

Great book with 130 caricatures in 336 pages, 6 x 8.3 inches, many of the caricatures satirizing Wagner and his music, and are entertaining. Published by Librairie Larousse, Paris, no year but most probably from the 1890s. Soft cover book, bound into new, non-original hard covers with green cloth. Signed on first title page by author John Grand-Carteret, inscribed, also with an autograph note signed by author, attached to the first blank page, after the first title page. Both author autographs (signature on first title page and attached autograph note signed) are addressed to Paul Eudel, French art critic, collector and merchant (1837-1911). A rare find!
