Italian conductor (1875-1932), performed with many important opera orchestras in Italy, toured the US with Mascagni and was for 3 years the principal conductor of Montreal Opera Company, then to become the music director of the Boston Pops and focus on education.  Signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1920, size is 6 x 9.8 inches, blind stamped on front by Carl Horner, Boston, very minor paper loss over the lower right corner, otherwise in excellent condition.

German mezzo-soprano (1826-1894), dramatic actress, and teacher of singing and theatrical performance who won great distinction in Europe during the third quarter of the 19th century. She was a niece of the composer Richard Wagner and created the role of Elisabeth in Wagner's Tannhauser in 1845, less than a week after her 19th birthday. Autograph letter signed, 3 pages, written in German, sold with a typed English language translation. Size of each page is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, in excellent condition. Rare!

German soprano (1826-1894), who created the role of Elisabeth in Tannhauser in 1845, less than a week after her 19th birthday. This vintage print shows her as Ortud in the premiere of Lohengrin in the Berlin Hofoper (Konigliches Opernhaus, Berlin), in 1859. Large print full color, hand-painted, in excellent condition.
