American pianist (1922-1953) who died in 1953 in the crash of BCPA Flight 304 while returning from a concert tour in Australia. Autograph letter addressed to a fan signed by him in Sidney, July 11th, 1953, just three months before the aircrash that killed him. Size is 6.5 x 8.6 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition.

Star German conductor (1908-1999), The New York Times described him in his obituary as ¨probably the world´s best-known conductor and one of the most powerful figures in classical music¨. Signed LP record, with his signature on the front, next to his image, conducting. LP record for "Ein Heldenleben" by Richard Strauss, op. 40, with Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic.  Record is inside the signed sleeve, 12.5 x 12.25 inches, crack on the sleeve, over the right and touching Karajan´s left shoulder, wear on edges, signature is a bit faded but still clearly visible.
