American film and stage actor, comedian, and singer (1915-1977), best known for his portrayal of comic characters on many celebrated films and theatrical productions. Also received an Obie Award and was a three-time Tony Award winner, as well as a member of the American Theatre Hall of Fame.  Signed program from a Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof, where he performed the role of Tevye, one of his most celebrated roles. Signed by him on the front cover page. This program contains six additional signatures on the program page, including those of the actors and actresses Rick Friesen, Debra Timmons, Shelley Wolf, Myron Curtis, and Tiffany Bogart (see scans). German-Polish composer, pianist and teacher (1854-1925), his output includes nearly 100 opuses plus a good number of works without opus number. Among his pupils were Josef Hofmann and Thomas Beecham. Autograph music quote handwritten and signed by him, with 2 bars from the Bacchanale from "Laurin", his ballet in 3 acts (op. 53, 1892-93). Bold, very clear signature. Size is 7 x 4.5 inches, in excellent condition - Rare!

German composer (1854-1925), pianist, and teacher of Polish-Jewish descent. Autograph note in German (sold untranslated) signed by the composer about music issues, no date (postal marking indicate Breslau, September 19, 1886).  Size is 3.6 x 5.5 inches, folds, in overall very good condition.

Included is an extra certificate of authenticity, issued by another dealer.

Size is 10 x 8 inches, authentication sticker on verso by another company (besides our own authenticity warranty), in excellent condition.

American heavy metal band founded in 1981, active since then. LP album record "Shout at the Devil" (1983) signed on the album sleeve by all four members Mikky Sixx, Mick Mars, Vince Neil, and Tommy Lee.  Size is 12.3 x 12.3 inches, LP included (not tested), some wear on the sleeve, in overall very good condition.

Celebrated Austrian conductor (1856-1911), also composer and later teacher. A specialist in Wagner´s music, Mottl assisted Richter in preparing the first run of the complete Ring cycle in the first Bayreuth Festival in 1876. Autograph note signed and dated by him in 1906, on a medium size cardboard card with the letterhead from the Royal Theater of Bavaria, in German, sold untranslated. Size is 6.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition

Spectacular cabinet photograph signed by her, shown as Elisabeth in Wagner's Tannhäuser, photo by Atelier Adele, Vienna. French ballet dancer (1921-?), who performed with Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo circa 1945. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown in rehearsal; ink-stamped on verso by Studio Iris (Paris). Size is 7.1 x 9.3 inches, some creases, in very good condition.

Program for the world premiere of this 3-act opera by Lodovico Rocca (1895-1986), Teatro La Scala, 1939, with an important cast.  Full program with all pages and covers, signatures by 4 singers (Licia Albanese, Stella Roman, Magda Olivero and Gina Cigna) on the last pages, where the artists of the 1939 season are listed. These 4 singers did not perform on the "Mount Ivnor", but did sing during the season, and signed next to their photos in the last pages of the program. Size is 6 x 8.5 inches, some damage on covers with ink writing, inside in excellent condition.  

Amazing collection of 21 original photos by Charles D´Emery, 1929-1934, of Mt Rushmore National Memorial. Started to be built in October 1927, this memorial is a massive sculpture carved into Mt Rushmore in the Black Hills region of South Dakota, United States. Created under the direction of Gutzon Borglum and his son Lincoln, the sculpture holds roughly 60-ft-high granite faces of presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Monument is one of the country´s landmarks and is visited by over 3 million people per year. This collection of 21 photos, each one sized 9.5 x 7 inches, are in "key-book" format linen-backed with punch holes on an added strip to place them in a reference book used for continuity in this project. Some of the photos have a warning to credit Publisher´s photo service, New York, a few have notes, such as one mentioning the need to reduce the size of Jefferson´s nose. In very good condition. Not sold individually.

British Royal Navy Officer and Statesman (1900-1979), and maternal uncle of Prince Philip, and Worl War II hero. Book entitled "Mountbatten" by Arthur Swinson, signed by Mountbatten of Burma over the back of the title page (opposite to the index - editorial page). Size is 5.4 x 8.25 inches, 1st Edition, 1971, 160 pages, softcovers, some wear on the spine and covers, otherwise in excellent condition.

British Royal Navy officer and statesman (1900-1979), Supreme Allied Commander in south-east Asia during World War II, last viceroy of India before independence and the first Governor-General of independent India (1947-1949). Autograph note signed as LMB, dated in 1976, greeting someone for Christmas and sending a gift, one page, 6 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Published in St. Petersburg-Kiev by Yiddisher Folks-Farlag, 1919, 8.2 x 10.4 inches, 16 pages, in very good condition. Illustrated by Iosif Chaikov. "Dos Kelbel" (The Calf), is an abridgement of Moykher-Sforim´s Sefere ha-behemot (The Book of Beasts). His real name was Sholem Yankev Abramovich (1836-1917), and is credited with founding modern literature in Yiddish. He was an editor, satirist, and teacher who opposed traditional Yiddish writing in a biblical manner. His pseudonym means "Mendele the itinerant bookseller". In keeping with the author´s tradition, Chaikov combines cubist techniques with folk iconography in his rendering of the Shtetl life. OCLC locates one copy in Princeton.
