Original, large poster issued in 1991 in a limited edition of 1500 by the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts in New York, celebrating the 25th anniversary of one of its most famous classical music festivals, the Mostly Mozart Festival. Lithograph and screenprint, size is 29 x 39 inches, very minor signs of aging and wear, in excellent condition.

Autograph letter written by the opera diva, dated in 1881, 7 pages on paper with personal letterhead, 5 x 8 inches. Letter discusses several musical matters, including her idea of a scholarship for singers at the Academy of Music. Signed by Lind at the end with very clear, bold writing. Only first and last 2 pages are shown in pictures. Punch hole on pages near the top, otherwise in excellent condition.

Letter discusses travel plans with an unknown recipient, in English, sold without a transcription. Signed as J.L. Goldschmidt (Jenny Lind Goldschmidt, adopting her second husband´s last name). A small piece in the center top is missing, not affecting the text - otherwise in excellent condition

Autograph letter signed by her, written in German (sold untranslated), dated in Lübeck, April 15th, 1840. Size is 4.4 x 7.1 inches, 4 written pages in one sheet, folds, in excellent condition.

Autograph letter signed, 1 page, written in German, sold with a typed English translation. Dated in Vienna in May 1846. The original text is on the first page of a four-page folded document, size of each page is 9 x 11.25 inches, some small creases and folds on various edges of the documents not affecting text and signature. Otherwise in very good condition.

Vintage lithograph by Lemercier, Paris, shown as herself, sized 6.75 x 8.5 inches, matted to a total of 11.25 x 13.5 inches, rust on mat. Famous French soprano Laure Cinti-Damoreau (1801-1863), who premiered several Rossini and Auber operas, lithograph published by Rigo Freres, Paris, sized 7.1 x 9.5 inches, some rust stains. All three of them in very good condition.

Beautiful original vintage playbill for a performance of Mozart's opera Le Nozze di Figaro at Her Majesty's Theatre, London, on July 13th, 1848, featuring Jenny Lind, Luigi Lablache, and Sofia Cruvelli. Size is 8.5 x 13 inches, loss of paper over all four borders, folds, in overall good condition.

Collection of 10 signed letters from friends and contemporaries of the great star Swedish soprano Jenny Lind (1820-1887), known as the "Swedish Nightingale", one of the biggest opera stars of the 19th century.  These letters discuss her musical career, include numerous personal anecdotes and include reports of her performances. They are written in a wide variety of languages including French and German (sold untranslated) and are dated between the 1840s and 1880s. Sizes range from 5 x 7.75 inches to 6 x 9 inches, most are around 6 x 8.5 inches, very well preserved in good condition. Fascinating historical items, not sold separately.

Another letter written in English, in London, 3 pages, 5.5 x 6.75 inches. 1 note is in French, 2 pages, untranslated, 4.5 x 9 inches, the other is 1 page, 5.5 x 8.5 inches, written in 1847. All are in excellent condition.

Also included is an unsigned 2.25 x 4 inch Carte-de-Visite (CDV) photo as herself, 1 full concert program, and one signature cut, dated in Bristol, England in September, 1847. The signature cut is on a 3.5 x 7 inch document mounted onto a 6.25 x 8 inch piece of paper, slight tear at bottom, otherwise all of these vintage items are in very good condition. Not sold separately.

Sold together with 4 vintage prints with her image, one in La Fille du Regiment (one of her most celebrated roles), one as Norma, one as herself at age only 18, and one as herself as adult (circa 1850). Prints are 5 x 8 inches.
