Swedish star soprano and teacher (1820-1887), considered one of the greatest singers of the 19th century, as well as Austrian bass and teacher (1807-1861). Signatures of both stars, matted together with a vintage print depicting them in Robert Le Diable, opera by Meyerbeer. Jenny make her London debut with this opera in 1847 and was also the last opera she performed in 1849. Total mat size is 12.75 x 17 inches, print is 7.75 x 9.25 inches, Lind´s signature is 4 x 1.25 inches and Staudigl´s signature is 3.25 x 1.25 inches, in excellent condition. Rare!

Czech baritone (1902-1970), known for his extensive career at the Prague National Theatre, where he specialized in character and intriguer roles across a wide range of operas, as well as for occasional appearances in Czech film. Signed photograph, shown as himself, dated at the Prauge Theatre in 1928. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

American dancer (b.1926) and actress. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment dated 1945. Size is 4.9 x 7.3 inches, in excellent condition.

French writer (1832-1896), composer, and performer. Autograph poem titled “Impromptu” signed by her. Lionnet pens five stanzas: “Je voudrais bien éloquemment/Répondre à ce toast si charmant/Qui vous trouble et qui nous remue,/Mais devant tant d’amenité,/Je me sens l’âme, en vérité,/Fort émue…”. The poem appears in the volume “Souvenir et anecdotes” (1888) by Hyppolite and Anatole Lionnet. Size is 8 x 11.5 inches, 1 page, folds, incomplete upper-left corner, otherwise in very good condition.

Twin brothers, born the same day, died in the same year (1832-1896), both recognized as highly talented singers and actors, presented highly popular concerts in the 1860s (Anatole was also a composer).  This set includes a 1 page autograph note signed by Anatole, 4 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition,  and 2 autograph letters signed by Hyppolyte, each of which is 2 pages long, one of them dated in 1862, the other does not give the year, both are 5.25 x 8.25 inches  with small creases and folds on each, and small bullet holes on the undated document, otherwise in very good condition. All three items are written in French and sold untranslated. Not sold separately. 

Romanian pianist and composer (1917-1950), whose star career was cut short by his death at age 33.  Rare autograph letter signed by him, dated on December 21st, 1940, in Romanian, to Romanian conductor Constantin Silvestri (1913-1969). Provided with English translation, one page, 8.75 x 9.3 inches, with folds, small cracks, otherwise in very good condition. Lipatti discusses with Silvestri (they would later become closer friends) about upcoming concerts together, need to postpone a concert for 2 pianos with his wife as a second pianist and Silvestri conducting, so they will have more time to rehearse, and other issues.
