Italian soprano (1831-1901), (sometimes incorrectly called Marcellina), known for Verdi soprano roles, also created parts in several world premieres, including the title heroines in Saviero Mercandente's Virginia (1866), Errico Petrella's Giovanni di Napoli (1869), and Donizetti's Gabriella di Vergy in 1869. Autograph letter signed, embossed on first page, 3 pages of a 4 page folded document, written in Italian, sold untranslated, dated in 1867. Signed as "M. Lotti della Santa". Size of each page is 5.25 x 8.25 inches, unfolded item is 8.25 x 10.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Member of the princely House of Hohenzollern (1907-1994), and also noteworthy as a businessman and patron of the arts. Set of six photographs: 3 photographs (2 signed by him) and 3 photo postcards. Two photographs are mounted on a photographer mat and also signed by the photographer Melitta Lang (Buenos Aires), and their sizes are 10.2 x 13.5 inches (silvering, spotted rust, in very good condition) -one of them is signed by Louis Ferdinand with a sentiment in German, dated 1930; the third photograph is 5 x 7.1 inches, signed by him (shown on a ship with the captain; photo has some silvering, spotted rust, in very good condition, also signed by an unidentified person over the lower-right corner); plus 3 photo postcards (family pictures), size is 3.5 x 5.4 inches each. King of France (1638-1715), also known as The Sun King,  between 1643 and 1715, was his reign of 72 years and 110 days the longest of any sovereign in history. Document in French (sold with a partial translation) signed by him in 1685 to his violinist Jacques Laquieze giving him a place to build at Versailles. The document is beautifully mounted floating on a mat with photo corners and has multiple abbreviations and legal terms about taxes.  Size is 13 x 9.75 inches, Total mat size is 18 x 15 inches, minor cracks, folds, in overall excellent condition.

Last king of France (1754-1793) before the French Revolution and the fall of monarchy in 1789. Louis became the King of France in 1774, at age 20, until the monarchy was finally abolished in September 1792. He was guillotined just 4 months later, in January 1793. Partially printed document with signed by him below, as the King of France, also signed by Armand Marc Comte de Montmorin (1745-1792), just before becoming Secretary of State for the Navy. Montmorin would also perish in the terrible year 1792, in prison. One page, in French, dated Aug 19th, 1797, shortly before the French Revolution. Size is 9.25 x 14.25 inches, some writing on verso in French with signatures and lacquer, untranslated. Minor cracks, folds, small stains, in overall good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a black and white photo of an oil painting depicting Louis XVI, by Antoine Callet - a modern print. Size is 8.5 x 11 inches, in excellent condition.

Lowe studied with Bruckner and made his music more popular.   Set of 2 autograph notes signed by him:  The first one is a card written in German (sold untranslated) by both sides, signed and dated in 1907.  Size is 4.25 x 3.3 inches, central fold, in very good condition.  The second is a letter written in German (sold untranslated), dated in Vienna, 1906.  Size is 5.25 x 6.75 inches, 1 folio (pages 1 & 3 written), central fold, in very good condition. Fine photograph mounted on a mat where the composer signed and inscribed to the famous soprano Gina Cigna with the legend "Sire Halewyn magnificent interpreter", dated in Buenos Aires, 1932.  Photograph is also signed by the photographer Stoppani, Buenos Aires.  Total size is 7.6 x 11 inches (actual photo is 5.4 x 7.75 inches), in excellent condition.
