Dated October 10,1891 to a colleague: “...les heures sont lentes qui nous séparent, nous qui travaillons en silence, du succès que les nécessités de la vie rendent enviable (...) Votre article du Courrier du Soir m’a fait grand plaisir...”. Size is 4.4 x 6.8 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet, in very good condition. 2. Dated March 1, [1900], to the art critic Henry Lapauze (1867-1925): “...Oserai-je, profitant de l’occasion de vous écrire, recourir à votre sympathie au sujet de ma nouvelle le Gardien, qui attend depuis plus d’ un an au Gaulois?...”. Size is 4.3 x 5.45 inches, 1 page, central fold. C. Dated September (no date) to a friend: “...Ferrero n’est pas encore venu me voir.
