    Giovanni Bottesini was an Italian composer (1821-1889) and virtuoso bass player, his father Pietro (1792-1874) was a clarinetist and lesser-known composer. Giovanni is known for his music for bass and chamber music.  Rare album page signed by both Giovanni and Pietro, and other unidentified signatures, dated in Liverpool in 1849.
