Russian-born Argentine ballet dancer (1918-2010), choreographer, and director of the Teatro Colon Ballet in Buenos Aires. Gorgeous black-and-white photograph signed by her in purple ink (some poor contrast but still clearly visible). Size is 3.3 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian dancer (1918-2010). Fine sepia photograph signed and dated by her in 1939, shown young in "Le Fille Prodigue"; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Spencer Shier (Melbourne). Size is 6 x 7.4 inches, minor silvering, creases, in overall very good condition.

Italian dancer (1865-1942), choreographer, and ballet master. Very informative autograph letter signed in Italian, dated in Vichy, June 25, 1933, as Maitre de Ballet au Grand Casino, Guerra writes to the artistic Director of La Scala Nino Cattozzo concerning a Ballet proposition for the Theatre's upcoming season, as follows: “…Per la ventura stagione del teatro alla Scala ho l’onore di proporle il mio ballo “Siama”. Questo ballo fu rappresentato alla Scala stessa nel 1912. Ebbe esito brillante, tanto che fu replicato per ben trentatré sere (…) vide la luce della ribalta, la primissima volta, sulle scene del Teatro dell’opera di Budapest, ove il compianto Direttore Mingardi, venne a vederlo. (…) si tratta di uno spettacolo di ambiente prettamente giapponese (…) La musica è di autore ungherese, leggerina piuttosto ma aggraziata, melodiosa e ben instrumentata…”. Canadian ballerina (1923-2006), associated with the New York City Ballet.. Fine black-and-white photograph, shown possibly in performance signed and inscribed by her, dated in 1966. Also signed on front by New York City Ballet's official house photographer Martha Swope (last name only). Size is 8.1 x 10 inches, in very good condition.

French ballet dancer (1820-?) with a brilliant career in Paris, Madrid, and New Orleans. Autograph letter in French signed by her, dated 1853, sent to tenor Giovanni Battista Benelli (1773-1857) about personal matters. Size is 4.8 x 7.3 inches, 1 page, folds, rust stains, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a printed note informing about the decease of Mr. Benelli and that his business will be taken care of by E. Caimi, from 1857.

American ballet dancer (b.1960). Beautiful color photo postcard signed and inscribed by him. Size is 6 x 4.2 inches, in excellent condition.

German couple dancing 1888-1968 (Rolf) and 1902-1968 (Gertrude). Regular card attached with two half-tone photographs signed by each one of them. Size is 6.2 x 4.3 inches, in excellent condition.

Danish dancer (b.1967) and currently the Artistic Director of the Royal Danish Ballet. Large signed color photo, shown in performance, size is 14 x 11 inches. Stamped on verso by photographer Costas, New York, in excellent condition. 

English choreographer (b.1931), and in his youth was a ballet dancer at the Royal Ballet in the late 1940s. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a long sentiment dated 1964, shown next to his wife Annette Page; ink-stamped on verso by photographer Roy round (London). Size is 6.2 x 8.25, in excellent condition.

American dancer (b.1943) and choreographer. Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown in performance. Size is 4.8 x 7.8 inches, in excellent condition.

French dancer (1830-?) Autograph letter in French signed by her, dated in Turin, Nov.28, 1952, to the theater agent Gianni Rossi about rejecting to dance at La Scala: "... yesterday I received your kind letter of the 22nd N. I am sorry that I have no longer had the pleasure of seeing you in the Hotel au Belle Venise. Thank you for the... You intended to engage me [sic.] for La Scala, but I cannot accept this engagement for this theatre and its payments. And then this theatre not of my passion [sic.] I could have danced [sic.] at the great Operas in Paris alone for payment and I would have liked to accept...". Size is 7.3 x 9.52 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet (front and verso), some light tears, folds, creases, in overall very good condition.  Handwritten envelope INCLUDED.

American ballerina (1920-1987) known for her ability to perform dramatic roles, and also works in films as a choreographer and producer and performed on Broadway. Casual black-and-white photograph signed by her. Size is 3.4 x 5.8 inches, minor creases, mounting traces on verso, in very good condition.

Famous American ballerina (b.1952), principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, later danced with the American Ballet Theater - ballet teacher David Howard (1937-2013), and ballet dancer and coach Sandra Jennings. Unused (never worn) t-shirt from the City Ballet of San Diego´s Summer Intensive workshops, signed by all 3. Medium size, not used. approx. 14.5 x 23.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

American prima ballerina (b.1952) trained at the School of American Ballet. Black-and-white photograph signed by her, ink-stamped on verso by photographer Martha Swope (New York). Size is 8 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

The Kirov Theatre was the name by which the Mariinsky Theatre at Saint Peterburg was known through most of the Soviet era. Program for the 1989 American tour of the Kirov Ballet signed by 18 of its members who signed in different pages of the booklet. Size is 9.8 x 13 inches, 48 pages plus soft covers, in very good condition.

American dancer (1908-1983), dance satirist and comedian. Fine photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment. Size is 4.7 x 6.5 inches, small crack over the left border, otherwise in excellent condition.

Hungarian ballerina (1931-2009) and Hungarian dancer (1930-2020), who defected in 1953 together to the West from the Soviet bloc. Playbill issued by Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires) signed by both artists, no year but circa the late 1950s. Size is 6.5 x 9.7 inches, 1 sheet printed on both sides, folds, minor stains, in overall good condition.
