Size is 9.6 x 13.1 inches, mounted on soft cardboard, dust stains over the cardboard, some silvering around the borders of the photo, in overall very good condition (see scan provided).

Set of two autograph letters in German signed by him, dated 1891 addressed to Giovanni Tebaldini (with an autograph letter as an answer on the third page), concerning music matters and music literature. Both letters are 5.5 x 8.5 inches in size approximately, 3 written pages in total, plus one sheet with a reply to the first letter, folds, overall rust tone, in very good condition. Size is 7.2 x 4.6 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a card with a 2-bar music quote from Strauss' "Der Rosenkavalier", dated May 29, 1974. Size is 6 x 3.9 inches, in very good condition.

Hungarian conductor (1850-1898), who assisted Wagner with Der Ring and the first Bayreuth Festival in 1876; later in his life conducted at the Met Opera and the New York Philharmonic between 1891 and 1898. Beautiful cabinet photograph of the conductor, trimmed from a larger format, signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment and a 3-bar music quote from an unidentified piece.  Size is 3.8 x 5.5 inches, mounting traces on verso, in overall good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a cabinet style photograph of a portrait depicting Richard Wagner, Hans von Bülow, Franz Liszt, and Cosima Wagner.  Size is 4.4 x 3.5 inches, probably trimmed from a larger format.

Russian-born American conductor (1893-1967), nephew of renowned conductor Serge Koussevitzky. Autograph letter in English signed by him about professional issues and a future trip to Europe. Size is 5.9 x 7.3 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet, central fold, in excellent condition.

Russian-American conductor and violinist (1886-1965), founder conductor of the Cleveland Orchestra in 1918 and later its Music Director, remaining with the orchestra until 1932, later conductor of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Gorgeous photograph signed and inscribed by him, shown inspecting a score. Size is 6.5 x 8.6 inches, probably trimmed from a larger original size, some repaired cracks, in good condition.

German conductor (1879-1961), theologian, and musicologist. Typed letter in German signed by him, dated July 21, 1939, stating: “Due to an overabundance of work and unfortunately also due to a prolonged illness, I only have time today, after the end of the semester, to thank you once again for the gracious welcome we received from you at our concert in Florence. It was a great pleasure for all of us to experience the open-mindedness with which the students of your famous institute received the performances of our chamber orchestra, and we will always remember the beautiful evening with you with gratitude. I hope that one day I will also have the pleasure of welcoming you to Berlin with some of your master's students. At the same time, I would like to take the liberty of sending you our last two annual reports, which should give you an insight into our work…”.  Size is 8.2 x 11.2 inches, 1 page, central fold, overal rust, creases, in overall very good condition.

German conductor (1855-1916) and composer who was particularly associated with the works of Johannes Brahms. Autograph letter in German, signed by him, dated 10/I/1909, to a colleague about music matters. Size is 5.5 x 8.6 inches, 1 page, central fold, with letterhead, in overall very good condition. Stokowski conducted many famous orchestras, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, NBC Symphony, NY Philharmonic Symphony and others. Signed publicity photograph, size is 8 x 10 inches, very small creases on some edges, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Austrian composer and conductor (1869-1919), wrote songs and duets, made very early recordings as a conductor. Nice cabinet photograph by E. Bieber, Berlin-Hamburg, signed and dated in 1907 by the composer. Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, minor damage at the top and mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

American conductor (b.1944), pianist, and composer. Larger size color Cibachrome* print signed and dated by the conductor in 1978, shown in rehearsal in Philadelphia that same year; also signed on verso by photographer Allen Winigrad.  Size is 10.9 x 14 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in excellent condition. *Cibachrome prints are high-quality prints from color transparency enlarged onto reversal color paper. This paper already has the emulsion incorporated and gives exceptional color brilliance.

Belgian-American composer, conductor, and founding conductor of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (1858-1929). Autograph musical quote signed on a signature cut, 3 bars of music, dated in New York in 1885. Size is 2.25 x 4.5 inches, in very good condition. 

Italian conductor (1872-1937), later in life teacher in Milan, his career as a conductor focused mostly on opera and toured extensively outside Italy. Nice photograph, signed, inscribed, and dated by him in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1920 - where he conducted La Gioconda, according to some pencil notes on verso. Also signed in pencil on the mat by the photographer. Size is 8.5 x 12 inches, spotted rust, in very good condition.

German conductor (1906-1940) and composer who died during the battle of Anzio (Italian Campaign) against the Allied in WW II. Fine black-and-white photo postcard signed and inscribed by him on verso with a short sentiment dated February 24, 1935. Size is 3.7 x 5.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Autograph note on a card in German signed in 1896 addressed to Oskar Bie (1864-1938), concerning a certain lady Laura Haas (presumably a singer), and mentioning future meetings. Size is 5.4 x 3.5 inches, in very good condition.

German conductor (1815-1873) and composer. Autograph letter in German signed twice by him, no date, to a gentleman about music matters. Size is 5.2 x 8.4 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet (front and back), smudges over ink, rust stains, folds, creases, and wrinkles, in good condition. In 1854 in the town of Krefeld, he set to words the 1840 poem “Die Wacht am Rhein” by Max Schneckenburger. In recognition of the success and the national importance of this song, he received the title of “Royal Prussian Musical Director” in 1860.
