Belgian clarinetist and conductor (1798-1850); and Belgian conductor and composer (1801-1873). Autograph letter signed as “Les frères Bender” (presumably handwritten by Jakob), dated in Paris, March 31, 1819, to a newspaper editor, sending: "... the programme of our concert next Friday, I hope you will insert it in your newspaper...". Size is 7.8 x 9.3 inches, 1 written page, in overall very good condition.   ALSO INCLUDED is an autograph note with the concert presentation.

German composer and conductor (1804-1885), resident in England for most of his career. Set of 2 autograph letters dated in 1838 and 1847, signed by him. Size is 4.5 x 7 inches each, 2-written page and 3-written page long; in one folded sheet each; both in very good condition.

Canadian conductor (1930-2012), pianist, and former conductor of the National Arts Centre Orchestra.  Fantastic black and white photograph signed by him, shown studying a score; stamped on verso by photographer Gold, Calgary, 1991.  Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Star American conductor and composer (1918-1990) and German conductor and opera director Heinz Lambrecht. Double signed photo postcard, showing them (according to the writing on verso) after a performance of West Side Story in March 1970, Volksoper, Berlin, in which Lambrecht conducted, with the composer (Bernstein) present.  Signed twice by Lambrecht (front and verso), 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition. Italian child prodigy conductor (1939-1965), began conducting at 8 years old, making him the youngest conductor and orchestral director in the world. Signed half-tone postcard photograph, dated in Milan in 1947. Bold handwriting and signature. Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, small scotch tape on front and mounting traces on verso, otherwise in good condition.  

Famous German conductor (1890-1951), was music director at Glyndebourne and spent years in South America. Fritz Busch conducted a truly epic series of ring cycles at Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Argentina and at Teatro Solís, in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1935-36, these are probably the scores used to study. Set of 4 scores for Richard Wagner´s cycle "Der Ring des Nibelungen", reduction for piano and orchestra by Karl Klindworth, published in the 1880s by B. Schotts Söhnen, two of the signed and with many markings and annotations inside. - Das Rheingold, 216 numbered pages plus hard covers, 11 x 13.5 inches, ink stamped on frontend and title pages "Property of Fritz Busch", signed as "Busch" on frontend page. Many markings and annotations inside the score in crayon and pencil. - Die Walkure, 274 numbered pages and hard covers, 11 x 13.5 inches. Signed and inscribed in 1881 by a previous owner in German on title page, ink stamps indicating "Property of Fritz Busch" on frontend and title pages. Many markings and annotations inside the score in crayon and pencil. - Siegfried, 299 numbered pages and hard covers, 11 x 13.5 inches. Signed and dated in 1888 by previous owner in German on frontend page, with full signature by Fritz Busch on frontend page plus half signature (as "Busch" only) on title page, ink stamp indicating "property of Fritz Busch". - Gotterdammerung, 357 numbered pages and hard covers, 11 x 13.25 inches. Ink stamped on frontend and title page "Property of Fritz Busch". All 4 from very good to excellent condition, some wear on covers.
