Stage name of Carlo M. Michelangelo Nicola Broschi (1705-1782), probably the most celebrated Italian castrato singer of the 18th Century and considered one of the greatest singers in opera history. Exceedingly rare legal document, related to the building of a house for him in Madrid, where he lived for over 20 years. The year of 1749 is printed at the top. Document is written by another hand, and signed at the bottom by Farinelli in full name, in a somewhat darker ink.
