Hungarian violinist (1871-1946), composer, and librettist. Autograph note signed on a postcard with his photo, dated in Berlin, 1901, written in German, sold untranslated. Note includes a very fine eight-bar music quote for violin and piano. Size is 5.5 x 3.6 inches, in excellent condition.

Belgian violinist and pedagogue (1909-2001), signed photo, shown in a thinking pose, inscribed in French and dated in Paris in 1934. Size is 6.75 x 9.25 inches. Stamped on veros by photographer, Studio-Iris, Paris. Some silvering on front, otherwise in very good condition.

Renowned Israeli violist (b.1973), resident of Germany, signed photo, size is 5 x 7 inches, excellent condition.

German violinist (1903-1990), later conductor, famous in the 1930s, emigrated to Argentina in 1937 after being banned by the government. Signed promo photograph, shown with his violin, dated 1937, size is 4 x 5.75 inches

British cellist and conductor (b.1951) and the principle of the Birmingham Conservatoire (b.1951). Signed photo, shown with the cello. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches.

British violinist (1906-1987). Autograph Note in English signed by him on a postcard with his letterhead, dated Aug.  28, 1968, to Ms. Carla Hinrichsen, thanking her for their meeting and waiting “...a letter from you as promised & details of compositions left...”. Size is 5.4 x 3.3 inches, in excellent condition.

French violinist (1841-1909) and conductor.  Set of 2 autograph letters signed by him, written in French (sold untranslated).  The first one is a 3-pages letter, dated 1901, size is 4.5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.  The second one has no year and its size is 4.1 x 5.2 inches, in excellent condition. Italian cellist, composer and also conductor (1897-1976), was a child virtuoso of the cello, extensively toured through Europe, later formed a famous trio with pianist Edwin Fisher and violinist Georg Kulenkampff. Signed half-tone photo, a page from a program where Mainardi signed under his image, 5.25 x 8.5 inches, dated in 1941, in excellent condition

Latvian cellist (b.1948), who has performed with internationally acclaimed musicians and directors such as Marta Argerich, Daniel Barenboim, Leonard Bernstein, and others. Beautiful card signed by him attached with a nice half-tone color clip of him shown in performance. Size is 4.1 x 5.8 inches, in excellent condition.

Anglo-Italian violinist and conductor (1905-1980), composer, and light orchestra-style entertainer with cascading strings musical signature, who was a powerhouse recording artist in his time. Beautiful black and white photo postcard signed by him, shown young. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in very good condition.

Album page attached with a small half-tone photograph of the violinist signed by him, dated in Buxton, U.K., 1950.  On verso there is a short text signed by the British tenor Arthur Servent (1902-1990) with a short sentiment, dated by him in 1951. Size is 7 x 5.8 inches, in excellent condition.

The Metropolitan was founded in 1883 as an alternative to the previously established Academy of Music opera house and debuted the same year and moved into a new location at Lincoln Center in 1966. Gorgeous photograph of a performance circa 1991 conducted by James Levine at Carnegie Hall, and signed by more than 75 artists (NOT SIGNED BY LEVINE). Total size is 20 x 16, actual photo is 13.5 x 10.5 inches (visible window size). This is the only photo we have ever seen that has been signed by more than 75 artists. Very rare!

German violinist and composer (1802-1869), who was also a music director at Stuttgart. Autograph letter signed, dated in London in 1850, handwritten in German (sold untranslated). Two pages, on one sheet, front and verso, sized 4.25 x 7.1 inches, in excellent condition.

Important Spanish flamenco guitarist (1903-1993), founder of the modern-day popular flamenco style of music. Gorgeous black-and-white promo photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment, shown in performing pose with his guitar. Size is 8.1 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.
