French violinist (1919-1949) who beat David Oistrakh to win the Polish Wieniawski Violin Competition aged 15; considered one of the finest violinist of her generation. Fine black-and-white photograph signed by her in 1947, shown posing with her violin. Size is 4.2 x 6.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Italian violinist (b. 1971), winner of several important violin competitions and recording artist. Signed half-tone photo, inscribed. Size is 5.75 x 8.6 inches, in very good condition.

Leading chamber music ensemble in South Korea and also famous internationally, established in 2007.  Larger size color photo signed by all four members.  Size is 11.7 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

American violin duo formed by Mark and Maggie O´Connor.  Larger size color photograph signed by both artists, shown in performance.  Size is 12 x 8 inches, in excellent condition.

Argentine-Austrian-American violinist (1914-2004), former concertmaster of the Vienna State Opera and Vienna Philharmonic. Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1948. Size is 8 x 10 inches approx., crease across the top, in overall very good condition.

Russian classical violinist, violist, and conductor (1908-1974), considered one of the most famous string performers of the Soviet Era and one of the preeminent violinists of the 20th century. He was the dedicatee of numerous violin works, including both of Dmitri Shostakovch's violin concerti and the Violin Concerto by Aram Khachaturian.  Signed album page, written in Russian, sold untranslated. Size is 4.25 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition. 

Star Russian violinist (b.1931) and his wife Russian pianist Natalia Serzalowa (born Natalia "Zertsalova"), double signed photograph, dated in 1982. Size is 4.75 x 6.75 inches, several small creases and bends, otherwise in very good condition.

German-born American violinist (1926-1985). Black-and-white photograph signed and inscribed by him with a short sentiment dated 1975, shown in performance.  Size is 8 x 10 inches, minor creases, signature made in the dark area (difficult to see in the scan, but clearly visible in actual picture), in overall good condition.

Program for a concert with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Eugene Ormandy, signed on the program page by the violinist. Size is 5.9 x 9 inches, in very good condition.

Czech violinist (1857-1922) and also composer and pedagogue. Autograph letter signed by him, written in German (sold untranslated), 3 pages. Each page is 4.6 x 6.9 inches, in very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a halftone photo of the violinist with his printed signature, size is 6.6 x 9.1 inches, in very good condition.

Italian string ensemble, photo of the orchestra, signed by most of its members, inscribed and dated in Santa Fe, 1960. Stamped on verso by photographer Carmen, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Size is 9.4 x 6.5 inches, minor creases, otherwise in very good condition.

Belgian violinist and composer (1863-1949), mostly known for his concertinos (works for violin and piano). Signed cabinet photo, shown young, dated in London, 1913. Photo by Elliott & Fry, London, size is 4.2 x 6.5 inches, minor crease over the top and minor damage over the top and bottom border, otherwise in very good condition.

Swiss-Italian violinist (b. 1973), signed photo, shown in performance. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Founded in 1959 by French conductor Jean-François Paillard (1928-2013), this ensemble focused on the baroque repertoire, recorded and toured extensively. Beautiful photo signed by all members, some of them signed on verso, inscribed, an original photo by photographer Jean-Pierre Leloir, Paris. Size is 9 x 7 inches

German violinist ((1807-1887), voice teacher, and composer. Autograph letter in French (untranslated) signed by him, dated March 31, 1854, addressed to the harpist and composer Léon Gatayes (1805-1877), offering him his “L'Art de Chanter”: “…qui vient de paraître et de vous prier de vouloir consacrer quelques instants à le parcourir…”.  Size is 5.4 x 8.3 inches, 1 page, blind-stamped letterhead, folds, creases, in overall very good condition.

Belgian violinist (1863-1934) and composer. Set of 2 autograph notes signed by him on cards, each one is written on both sides in French (sold untranslated). Each card is 4.5 x 3.4 inches, minor mounting traces and rust, otherwise in very good condition. NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.

British concert violinist (1920-1987), who was also professor. Signed photo, shown in performance. Size is 3.3 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.

American classical guitarist (b. 1947), who is also a teacher and created his own teaching method. Nice black-and-white photograph signed by him. Size is 7.9 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Slovakian double bassist (b.1982), signed color photo, shown with his instrument. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

German violinist (1887-1962), performed on tour and published arrangements, left several recordings. Signed photo postcard, with a short music quote on the top left, 3.25 x 5.25 inches, excellent condition.

Israeli-American violinist (b.1945) and Israeli-born violinist and conductor (b.1948). Fine black-and-white half-tone photograph (from a newspaper) signed by both artists in an interesting pose. Size is 8.9 x 6.75 inches, folds, two storage holes over the right border, in good condition.

American violinist (1887-1966) best known as the teacher of great violinists such as Yehudi Menuhin, Ruggiero Ricci, Isaac Stern, and others. 1-bar autograph music quote signed by him in 1931 on an album page. Total size is 11 x 7.8 inches, in very good condition. On verso there is an attached Ad promoting his work.

Autograph letter signed, 3 pages, dated in London in 1875, written in Italian and sold untranslated. Size of each page is 5.25 x 8 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian cellist, teacher, and composer (1822-1901) whose full name was "Carlos Alfredo Piatti", actively performed for over five decades, and composed several cello pieces. Autograph letter signed by him, in Italian, sold with translation and transcription, dated in London, July 8, 1854, to a friend about the personal and music business. Size is 5.4 x 7 inches, 4 written pages in one folded sheet, in very good condition.

Two autograph musical quotes signed on a single 8 x 8.5 inch album page from both Alfredo Piatti (full name "Carlos Alfredo Piatti"), Italian cellist, teacher and composer (1822-1901), dated in 1880, and Charles Halle - Anglo-German pianist,  conductor, and founder of The Hallé Orchestra in 1858 (1819-1895), dated in 1884. Rare vintage item in excellent condition!

Belgian concert pianist (1811-1875), one of the most admired pianists of the 1830s, and chair of the Piano Department of the Brussels Conservatoire in 1848. Set of 4 autograph letters in French (untranslated) signed by the Belgian pianist. Two are 4.1 x 5.25 inches, the other 2 are 5.25 x 8.3 inches, in excellent condition. American violinist (1911-2007) pupil of Emanuel Ondricek, and winner of the Schubert Memorial Prize in 1929. Autograph signature on an album page dated Feb. 18, 1984. Size is 5.4 x 7.8 inches, in very good condition.
