Italian tenor (1891-1960), signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed, dated in 1918. This is a 4.5 x 6.75 inch photo mounted on soft cardboard with a total item size of 7.5 x 10 inches, there is some handwriting on the photo but the signature is on the cardboard beneath the photo. In excellent condition.  

Polish soprano (1894-?), sang mainly in France between 1913 and the 1930s. Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed with sentiment, dated in Paris in 1923. Blind stamped on front and printed signature on verso of photographer Talbot, Paris. Oval shaped photo on soft cardboard, item size is 8 x 12 inches, small bullet holes and creases on edges, otherwise in very good condition.

American baritone (b. 1955) and Austrian tenor (b. 1957), double signed photograph, shown in roles in Friedrich Cerha's opera "Der Riese vom Steinfeld" at the Vienna State Opera in June 2002. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition. 

American baritone (later tenor), signed photograph, shown as Joseph De Rocher, the title character of Jake Heggie's opera Dead Man Walking, a role he premiered in the opera's world premiere performances in San Francisco in 2000. Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

This a 7.5 x 11.25 inch photo mounted onto soft cardboard, total item size is 9.5 x 13.5 inches, slight tears on far edges of the photo, otherwise in excellent condition.

Italian mezzo-soprano (1873-1938). Signed cabinet photograph, shown in role, by photographer Louhozanete, inscribed and dated in Odessa in 1905. Size is 5.5 x 8.5 inches, minor creases on front and verso, otherwise in excellent condition.

French soprano, particularly known for operetta (1859-1954). Signed photograph, shown as Marie in Donizetti's Fille du Regiment. 3 x 4.75 inch photograph, mounted on solid cardboard, total item size is 6.75 x 8.25 inches, small rust on cardboard not affecting image and signature, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Italian bass (1862-1931), signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in Berlin in 1903. Clear and bold handwriting and signature. Blind stamped on front by photographer. This is a very attractive vintage 6.25 x 8.5 inch photo, mounted on solid cardboard, total item size is 8.5 x 11.5 inches, in excellent condition. 

Italian tenor and teacher (1855-1927) , signed cabinet photograph, shown in role (possibly in Bizet's Carmen), inscribed and dated in 1885. Size is 4.25 x 8.50 inches, small crack on bottom right and slight paper loss on other corners, not affecting image and signature, otherwise in very good condition.

Photographic archive from Stockholm's influential 1912 Olympic Games Rare and impressive collection of 240 vintage postcard photographs offering a comprehensive visual record of the Stockholm 1912 Olympics, all meticulously numbered and arranged in a period leather-bound album, 14.5˝ x 15˝ x 2.5˝, which was presented as a special gift to Swedish diplomat Gerhard Löwen, who served as the Minister Resident in Buenos Aires from 1910 to 1918. Each matte-finish photograph, 5.25 x 3.25 and 3.25 x 5.25, captures a unique image from the historic Stockholm Games, including legendary figures like King Gustaf V and American athlete Jim Thorpe, sundry teams and competitors, moments from the opening ceremony, the medal celebration, and the Swedish Singing Society concert, and many action shots from sporting events like gymnastics, shooting, equestrian, tennis, cycling, football (soccer), aquatics (diving, swimming, water polo), rowing, sailing, and various athletic events like the marathon, shot put, discus, and the pentathlon. As noted, Thorpe appears twice in this collection: at the start of the 1500-meter race in the pentathlon (No. 53) and in a heroic full-length pose as the winner of the pentathlon and the decathlon (No. 90).  A couple of postcards in this collection, with Jim Thorpe have been sold in the past for 6k-9k USD each by themselves. Here both are part of this amazing collection. The album, which is engraved in gilt to the front cover, “Los Juegos Olimpicos De Estocolmo 1921,” includes a brad-bound index describing each offered photograph. In very good to fine condition, with wear to the album's spine, and light silvering to the edges of most of the photos.

Beautiful, truly unique piece, fully hand-made and painted by an artist in Ukraine. With 5 wooden dolls, each representing a famous soprano of the late 19th Century-early 20th Century. Largest is Adelina Patti, followed by Jenny Lind, Christine Nilsson, Nellie Melba and Luisa Tetrazzini. Largest doll is approximately 6.5 inches high by 3 inches wide, light wait, in excellent condition. Truly unique and rare: only 3 sets of these were made.

Star Italian bass (1892-1957), one of the most outstanding singers of the first half of the 20th century, who spent 22 seasons at the Metropolitan Opera.  Original cape used by him in the movie "Tonight We Sing" (1953), where he performed in a scene as Mephistopheles in Faust, singing in French. Approx. size is 32 x 56 inches, in excellent condition. See pictures.  

Italian soprano (1880-?), in 1904 she sang in Teatro Vittorio Emanuele, Turin in the world premiere of Franco Alfano’s opera ‘’Risurrezione".  Signed photograph, shown most likely in role, inscribed dated in Milan in 1908.
